Today, I want to share my list of the top 27 Amway Diamonds of all time, as I see it.
This list will cover both current and former Amway Diamonds, U.S. and foreign, and living and deceased Diamonds covering the 50+ year history of the company.
I have to tell you that putting this list together was lots of fun. It took me about 24-hours to research, write and edit this post.
I’m a big fan of Amway, even though I am no longer affiliated with the company. I spent about 2.5 years in the company with the World Wide Dream Builders line of sponsorship and maintained the 2500 PV level for about a year.
Amway is THE pioneer in the network marketing industry, paving the way for many other MLM Companies. Every network marketer in every company should be grateful for what Amway did for our industry. Their victory over the FTC in 1979 was a HUGE victory for our entire industry.
Amway has so many success stories through the years. From what I found online, there are approximately 3 million Amway Distributors worldwide, of which several thousand distributors maintain the Diamond level pin, or higher.
If you added in all of the former and inactive Diamonds, I’d be willing to be that number would be well above 10,000 Diamonds. Since this information is not published, this is simply my best guess.
The Criteria for This List
Boiling that list down to the top 27 Amway Diamond Distributors of all time was no easy task!
To be quite frank with you, I’m only familiar with a very small percentage of their success stories (many were from the 1960s and 1970s before I was even born), but I’ve given it my best shot to give you an accurate list.
Before I share my list with you, please know this upfront:
- I do not know specifically how much money any of these distributors made in their Amway business or with their system income, since that information is not public record.
- I do not know the exact number of people in each person’s team.
- I do not know how long each one of these distributors was partnered with Amway.
- Not all of these distributors are still with the company.
- Not all of these distributors are still alive.
- This list covers Amway distributors from the company’s inception to the present day.
- I do not know which people on this list are still “qualified” as Diamonds.
- I do not expect you to agree with everyone I have on the list, or the ranking, it is just my opinion.
- The ranking is based off what I personally know about each person, how long they have been with the company, their pin level, how many successful leaders and distributors they have on their team, and the level of the influence that I thought they had in the business and the industry.
- Amway is a registered trademark and I am not affiliated with the company in any way.
Before I give you the list, I should clearly define what an Amway Diamond is.
- Have 6 qualified legs (groups of people) that do 7500 PV (points) for 6 out of the 12 calendar months during the fiscal year.
- Three of those 6 legs must be in market (same country).
- You must maintain 7500 PV outside of those six legs for six of the twelve calendar months.
The Top 27 Amway Diamonds of All Time
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here are my Amway Diamond Success Stories…
# 27: Robert and Lois Stonelake
The Stonelake’s helped put Amway on the map. For that reason alone, they made my list. They built a huge organization within Amway and then sold their business in 1985, thinking that Amway was on the downswing. Their (former) downline now has millions of people in it, with leaders such as Jim and Nancy Dornan and Kaoru Nakajima, both successful distributors on this list.
# 26: Fred and Bernice Hansen
Fred was a successful distributor in Nutrilite with Rich and Jay and helped them launch Amway. Fred and Bernice achieved Crown in 1975. Sadly, Fred died in 1968 and Bernice passed away in 2012. Their business is now managed by their children.
# 25: Donald and Ruth Storms
Don Storms is an Executive Diamond with Amway. He is also an ex-minister, who spent 13 years traveling the country with a gospel quartet, before teaming up with Jim Bakker and becoming a senior vice president at the PTL Club. In 1979, he and wife Ruth started their Amway business. Today, Storms is a real estate developer, in addition to his Amway business, according to MLM Survior.com on July 13, 1999.
I don’t know much about this couple except that they had a really big team and that they were eventually terminated by Amway. They were Crowns in the business and part of the Dexter Yager organization. Sadly, Don passed away a few years ago.
# 24: Kenny and Donna Stewart
Kenny Stewart is a former Crown in Amway. His business was terminated due to a lawsuit in court. This guy had a monster organization with lots of diamonds in it. Many of his successful leaders were terminated too.
# 23: Brig and Lita Hart
If you’ve been in MLM even one day, you’ve heard of Brig Hart. He left Amway and became the top earner in Mona Vie (he has since sold his Mona Vie business). His Amway business was terminated in 2003 over a dispute with the Business Support Materials. Many of his top leaders were also terminated and the others joined different AMOs. From what I have found online, Brig is now promoting Jeunesse.
# 22: Dan and Bunny Williams
Dan and Bunny Williams founded their business in 1966 on the simple strategy of helping others reach whatever goals they wanted to reach.
This strategy, combined with hard work, set the pace for strong growth from the onset. Within three months, their business was earning a profit. The Williamses achieved Diamond in two years, Triple Diamond in five years, and Crown in just 13 years. In 1979 they reached the highest award (at that time) of Crown Ambassador.
Dan is a second-generation Independent Business Owner. “My dad came into the business nine months before we did and went Direct soon after we got involved,” he says. “Both of us were sponsored by my sister Jan and her husband Bill, who served on the Board. Dad sponsored two Platinum’s in three years, allowing him to retire in Florida at the age of 65. He gave us all a legacy of belief in God, hard work, balance in our lives, and a wild sense of humor.”
Bunny Williams passed away on August 13, 2006. Dan Williams passed away on August 9, 2012 in Austin, TX.
# 21: Joe and Helyne Victor
This classy couple was one of the early distributors with the company and they helped draft the original sales and marketing plan. They went on to become Crowns. Joe served on the Board of Directors during the early years. Their children and grandchildren are VERY successful in the business, too.
# 20: Jere and Elieen Dutt
Jere and Eileen Dutt were the first Diamonds within Amway, reaching that milestone in 1964. That’s why I put them on this list. They were part of Nutrilite with Rich Devos and Jay Van Andel for several years, prior to helping them start Amway. They qualified Crown in 1979 and their business is now run by their grandchildren.
# 19: Robert (Bob) Crisp
Robert Crisp is a former Triple Diamond who built a team of more than 200,000 distributors. He eventually sold his business in 1984 and went on to become an author, speaker and consultant in the network marketing industry. His book “Raising a Giant” is an industry favorite.
# 18: Rick and Sue Setzer
Rick and Sue Lynn Setzer are frontline to Yager Family. They have many huge pins in their downline, including Double Diamonds Hal & Susan Gooch; Bill Childers; Brig Hart, Founders Crown Ambassador Tim Foley, and Triple Diamonds George and Ruth Halsey.
# 17: Robert Angkasa
Robert was an engineer & banker who worked in several companies in Sydney before he was hired by a famous private bank in Indonesia. Getting this job was a major accomplishment for him and what he always wanted. His career moved very fast. His last position before he resigned to run his Amway business full-time (1994) was AVP. He admits that sometimes he doubted his decision to build the Amway business. However, everything changed after he went to a Network 21 function. Now he has a huge business, he made his legacy but he thinks this is just a beginning.
When it comes to Amway Indonesia, Robert Angkasa is the ultimate success story. He is currently a Crown in Amway and participates in the Network 21 line of sponsorship.
# 16: Ron and Georgia Lee Puryear
The Puryear’s are the leaders of the World Wide Dream Builders. When I was in Amway, I was part of their organization. They went Diamond in 1976 and Founders Crown in 2004. They have more than 500 Diamonds in their downline organization. Most of those Diamonds are in Korea and are part of Leonard and Esther Kim’s organization. Sadly, Ron passed away in 2016.
# 15: Jody and Kathy Victor
This couple was second generation successes in Amway and their son is currently in the business as a Platinum. They went Crown in 1981 and have a big business throughout the world. They are the leaders of the MMP line of sponsorship and they have distributors in the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Greece.
# 14: John and Jennie Belle Crowe
This couple joined Amway in 1973 and went Diamond in 1979. They went Founder’s Crown in 2013 and are the leaders of the UR Association. For a long time they were part of Britt World Wide, but they decided to form their own Amway Motivation Organization (UR Association) in 2007.
# 13: Mark Lei and Peggy Yeh
The couple joined the business in 1983 and they have a huge organization. They are based out of Taiwan. They are Founder’s Crown Ambassador 40 FAA Points as of 2004. Their business spans China, Taiwan, Philippines and Singapore. They participate in the CRADOR line of sponsorship.
# 12: Mitch and Diedre Sala
The Sala’s started their Amway business in Australia in 1982. They went Diamond in 1990 and Founder’s Crown Ambassador in 2006. They were the first Crowns in Amway Australia and they really put Amway on the map in Australia. They struggled with their business for the first year or two, but finally figured things out and now have a team that spans the globe.
# 11: Charlie & Elsie Marsh
Charlie and Elsie Marsh joined Amway in 1964. They were the first Triple Diamonds and Crowns in Amway. Prior to joining Amway, Charlie was a police officer in upstate New York. They have more than 1,000 Diamonds in their business, including Dexter Yager. Sadly, Charlie passed away in 2010.
# 10: Tim Foley
Thomas David “Tim” Foley (born January 22, 1948) is a former American football player.
Foley starred at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois before moving on to Purdue University, where he received All-American honors as a defensive back in 1969. He then played 11 seasons (1970–1980), all of which were with the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 1979.
He was an analyst for TBS College Football as well as Miami Dolphins preseason.
Since 1981, Foley has been an Amway Independent Business Owner. He has achieved the prestigious level of Founders Crown Ambassador.
Tim is the leader of efinity, an Amway Motivational Organization.
# 9: Leonard and Esther Kim
Leonard and Esther Kim joined the Amway business in 1990. In 2001, they broke more than 100 new Diamonds in their organization, in just one year. They do business in Korea and participate in the World Wide Dream Builders Korea line of sponsorship. They are Founders Crown Ambassadors with 40 FAA points.
During my time with WWDB, I heard many great stories about this couple. I always wanted to meet them.
# 8: Kaoru Nakijama
Kaoru Nakajima built Amway Japan! He is a Double Crown Ambassador with 50 FAA points. He leads the Heckel organization and his team is located mostly in Japan and the United Kingdom. He joined Amway in 1982 and was the first Double Crown Ambassador in the world. He is still very active in the business.
To put things in perspective.
To qualify as a Double Crown Ambassador a qualified Platinum must have 40 legs qualify at the Silver Producer level for at least 6 months within the Amway Performance Year.
Think about that for a moment. That means he had FORTY solid legs in his team!
# 7: Peter and Eva Muller-Meerkatz
This couple has/had 28 Diamonds on their first level. That is amazing! They are currently FAA 50 Crown Ambassadors with Amway. They joined the business in 1976, hit Diamond in 1977 and Crown in 1978. As of 2012 their team has more than 500 Diamonds and 750,000 people in it. They are based out of Germany.
The Founders Achievement Awards (FAA) were developed to recognize and reward the worldwide business contributions of top IBOs. Since 1991, these annual discretionary cash awards have been presented to IBOs who demonstrate extraordinary business development and exhibit high ethical and business standards.
# 6: Bill Britt
While I was in Amway, Bill Britt was my favorite Diamond (close tie with Dave Severn). Bill and Peggy Britt had a huge team and Bill was extremely passionate about Amway, freedom, and entrepreneurship. He is the founder of Britt World Wide.
It is said that Bill Britt has more than 1.5 million distributors in his downline! That’s no small feat. He and Peggy were Founder’s Crown Ambassadors with 40 FAA points. Sadly, Bill Britt passed away in January 2013.
# 5: Jim and Nancy Dornan
Jim is the pioneer of Network Twentyone, a line of sponsorship within Amway. Jim and Nancy have an Amway business that spans the globe, in countries such as the U.S., Canada, China, Sweden, India, Turkey and much more. Jim and Nancy Dornan are Founder’s Crown Ambassadors with 55 FAA points. Sadly, Jim passed away in 2013, after a long battle with cancer.
Network Twentyone, is a training and support organization for distributors working with the Amway business. It was founded in 1990 by Jim and Nancy Dornan, distributors with Amway, originally to support their Amway network in the United States and Australia. Network Twentyone provides complete “turnkey business support solutions” for Amway Independent Business Owners from meetings and function production including education, recognition and motivation to web applications and multi-media products designed to aid you in building a profitable Amway business. # 4: Max Schwarz
Max joined Amway in 1977 and rose through the ranks quickly. He hit the Crown Ambassador rank in less than five years. He is currently a Founders Crown FAA 60, making him one of the most successful distributors in the company. His downline is located in Europe, in countries such as Germany, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Russia, Poland and Czechoslovakia. He is the leader of the Schwarz Organization.
To qualify as a Crown Ambassador a qualified Platinum must have 20 legs (3 must be in market), each of which qualifies at the Silver Producer level for at least 6 months of the fiscal year or attain Diamond qualification for 6 months of the fiscal year (6 legs must be in market), and generate at least 27 FAA credits during the fiscal year.
# 3: Foo Howe Kean and Shu Chen
This couple is at the top ranks of Amway in many different markets. They have over 800 downline Diamonds and 30 Crown Ambassadors in their downline. Think about that for a moment! They participate in the Crador line of sponsorship and they have a large business presence in China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, Philippines, Korea, Vietnam, and the United States. According to some reports online, they are within the top 20 earners in the ENTIRE MLM Industry.
# 2: Dexter Yager
When I think of an Amway Diamond, the first person that comes to mind is Dexter Yager. He and his wife Birdie joined Amway in 1964 and built quite perhaps the largest organization within Amway. They are the leaders and founders of the InterNET line of sponsorship.
Their business spans the globe and does business primarily in the U.S., Canada, India, Colombia, Mexico and Guatemala. Dexter is pretty much the founder of the “systems” within Amway. Currently, they are Founder’s Crown Ambassadors with 65 FAA points.
Many people outside of the Amway business, including myself, consider Dexter Yager the GODFATHER of MLM. Sadly, Dexter passed away in January 2019.
When the Dream is Big Enough, the Facts Don’t Count. ~ Dexter Yager
# 1: Barry Chi and Holly Chen
I had to put this couple as the top Amway Diamond Distributors of all time.
This couple built a dynasty in Amway. They joined the business in 1982. To the best of my knowledge, they have the biggest team on this list. They have more than 2,000 Diamonds in their organization and well over one million distributors. They were the second Double Crown Ambassadors in the world.
They are leaders of the Plum Blossom line of sponsorship. Their business spans the globe and they are Founder’s Crown Ambassadors with 77 FAA points. Their two sons are also Diamonds with Amway.
Amway Diamond Traits
I’ve studied a lot of Diamonds in Amway. I enjoy studying successful people in many different network marketing companies, to be honest with you. After all, success leaves clues. Here are some “common” trends I have noticed with the Amway Diamonds.
- Most of them have been with the company at least 20 years, if not longer.
- Most of the Diamonds took minimum five to ten years to get to the Diamond level; a few hit it quicker than that, and many took much longer than that.
- Most of the Diamonds have one to five “Diamond” legs, and several other smaller Platinum sized legs.
- Most have the Diamonds have sponsored at least 100 to 200 people personally, if not more than that.
- Most of the Diamonds on this list have their own system.
- The Diamonds are 100% committed to their business; most worked the business on a full-time basis right out the gate, even when they had a day job.

Final Thoughts
In summary, Amway is the biggest MLM Company in the world. It has a long and proud history. The people on this list are responsible for much of the company’s success. All of these individuals built huge organizations within Amway. Some of the distributors are still alive and some are deceased. Some are still with the company and others aren’t.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my list of the top 27 Amway Diamond Distributors of all time. Feel free to leave a comment below to share your thoughts about who you think are the most successful Amway Diamonds of all time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Barry Chi and Holly Chen are true legends in this craft. My hat goes off to them.
Most definitely. They’ve been in the business around 30 to 40 years. That in and of itself is quite the accomplishment. Plus, they have a team with THOUANDS and THOUSANDS of people making money.
I remember some of those names mentioned. Chuck and Elsie Marsh. The former police officer. Was in the line that I was once in. I enjoyed seeing those names again. Thankyou!
Glad to help. Yes, Charlie and Elsie Marsh were legends in the Amway business. I would have loved to meet them and learned from them.
This is a very detailed list of Amway Diamonds. I can’t imagine how long it took you to put all of this information together. Thanks for sharing. I haven’t heard of any of these names before, but I assume they all have huge businesses, or did at one point in time.
Thanks for the comment. If you don’t have much experience, or any experience, in the MLM Industry, and aren’t familiar with Amway, these names will be unknown to you. However, in the Amway world, these folks are the ROYALTY. They’ve paid their dues and built HUGE teams across the globe.
Amway is definitely one of the biggest companies in the world. However, it is still not found in many countries. It is not in here in Pakistan. It is also not found in many other countries such as Cyprus, iran, Iraq, Maldives, Greenland, Paraguay, etc. I am sure that they will soon operate in these countries sooner.
Yes, there are still lots of countries Amway does not do business in yet. Many of these countries have a HUGE population. I’ve found that some countries are easier to expand into than others. The legalities, paperwork, taxes, laws, logistics, tariffs, etc. make it almost impossible in some countries to open up. I think Amway has done a great job overall building an international presence.
There are so many good people NOT on this list. It must have been hard to limit it to just 27 people. I know a lot of Amway Diamonds are no longer in the business, or they’ve lost their rank qualification, but still, I’ve heard there were close to 5,000 current and former Amway Diamonds.
Tell me about it. What I should have done was made a top 50 list of Amway Diamonds. Then I definitely would not have left off any of the key people that I did.
Amway seems to be bigger than I thought. Having 3 million distributors is a success story on its own. I’m very much captivated and interested in this massive one.
Amway is a huge success story in our industry. They have paved the way for every other company in our industry, especially by winning their landmark case against the Federal Trade Commission in 1979.
Chuck, will all the other supermarkets lose out to Amway? The other question I have, will Amway go bust at some stage? Many old companies have ended up shutting down.
Thanks for your help.
AM.
There are close to 8 BILLION people in the world. Amway has a small market share in that overall space. The supermarkets will never go out of business because of a MLM Company.
Will Amway go bust? I doubt it, but anything is possible. They’ve been around over 60 years, so I’d say that is a good sign they are here to stay for the long haul.
I’m glad to hear that you’re a loyal Amway fan, and pulling out this efficient list takes a lot of work, I really admire your work.
I’m not an Amway rep, but I do respect all that they have done for the industry. And, they are the big dog in our industry. They paved the way for everyone else, so people should respect them.
After reading this I am excited to join Amway. I like the business model a lot.
Awesome. Amway has been around more than 60-years now. It’s definitely the big dog in our industry. Thousands of people join the company every day, so it’s definitely worth considering. My only advice would be to compare two or three companies before joining one. This will give you some perspective about what to look for in a company.
Did you get started in Amway?
Getting to the level of diamond is the ultimate prize. How I wish I get to make it some day.
How long have you been with Amway, Storm? Are you still with the company?
I have been part of a lot of MLMs that turned out to be pyramid schemes. I wish I had discovered AMWAY earlier.
Sadly, some companies that try to disguise themselves as MLM Companies are scams. The number one thing to look for in a legit company is if there is a product or service. If you are paid to recruit, run the other direction. On the other hand, if you are paid on the legitimate movement of products, that will help it pass the acid test.
What I like most about Amway is the fact that it does not promise overnight riches like some scams out there. There is a clear path to wealth creation.
Correct. No new business, of any kind, is designed to create instant riches. Most businesses take a year or two to get profitable and at least three to five years of intense focus and hard work to become successful.
I hope one day I get to make this list. It does take a lot of work but it’s totally worth it!
If you do the work, you could make the list of the top Amway Diamonds. Most of these “Diamonds” grinded for at least five to ten years before they had a big business. It takes patience, vision and lots of hard work. Most people give up way too soon.
Your absolutely right it takes a great deal of patience but not as much patience to work a job for the rest of our lives thank you for the positive outlook on Amway and wwdb I’ve met some incredible people that’s helping my wife and I
I’m glad you are having a good experience with WWDB and Amway. The fact that you and your wife work the business together is great. That’s quite rare. And yes, the people you meet in the business are wonderful. I have many fond memories.
The article is a great read. Reading all these success stories just goes to show that it is possible to be very successful with AMWAY
Yes, I love reading the success stories myself, in many different endeavors, not just network marketing. It’s great to see what people had to overcome to succeed, how they had to grow and change, and how long it took. It’s very inspiring. The Amway success stories are no different. Most of the successful reps have been in the company at least 10-30 years and many of them did not get off to a fast start. But they all got to work and stuck it out.
Great work Chuck. We got to have dinner with Dexter Yeager many years ago by surprise of our upline. Wow! The diamonds of inspiration in humility that he poured into us in that 2 hrs were amazing. We didn’t stay in Amway for many reasons, But like you , we would encourage anyone to become an entrepreneur. And their are many ways today to be your own boss. I will also add this note; Amway products are great!
Many blessings,
MJ
Hey MJ,
I would have loved to been a fly on the wall on the dinner with Dexter. I never got the chance to meet him, but would have loved to.
What type of business do you do now?
Chuck
Barry Chi and Holly Chen are such an inspiration. We all ought to strive to be like them.
Yes, they are legends in the Amway business. They’ve been building their team for decades and they are still in the trenches, still building. I admire and respect that.
Amway has been in business for decades. I think its track record speaks for itself.
Yes. The do have their share of haters, but every rep and every MLM Company in the industry should respect Amway because of their 1979 Amway vs. FTC case. They case helped “legitimize” our industry.
I have always been skeptical about MLMs. Amway does look legit however.
Nothing wrong with being skeptical. I have always been skeptical of jobs. Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur. It takes vision, mental toughness and a lot of hard work.
Admittedly, it’s the first time I am hearing about Amway Diamond. I have to say I am very impressed though.
Yes, these are the top distributors in the company. Most of these people have been building their Amway business for decades.
This definitely took a lot of time to put together. I am very thankful for the ton of research you did.
Doing the research for this post was fun. It took a ton of time. But, I learned a lot of valuable things doing my research and I’m glad that I could publish this on my blog for others to read, without them having to take as much time as I did writing it.
Another good story would be the successful IBOs vs failed IBOs. That is the big story. Way bad investment of time and money. Sorry
People waste money on latte and cable – its pretty difficult to waste $ on anything that could improve one’s thinking and personal habits.
A very fine piece of information that is motivating. It is about vision and security.
Yes, all of these Amway Diamonds had a big vision. Their vision is what keep them grounded (and in the game) while they went through the setbacks and challenges everyone goes through while building a successful network marketing business. This is why I have so much respect for them.
Kudos for such a detailed and well explained article. I’ve learnt so much about Amway Diamond Distributors. I’ll definitely be coming back to understand even more.
Awesome, Grace. Are you part of Amway? If so, how long you have been involved?
Just to be part of any of these teams is already a dream come true. There is a lot to be learned from them, even as you grow in Amway too.
Yes, the Amway culture is very good. People are very loyal to their teams.
Lots of great information here about the Amway Diamonds. I’m a little surprised with your list though.
Yes, putting together this list of Amway Diamonds was very subjective. If 100 people created a list, you would have 100 different rankings. I just used the criteria I mentioned in the article and came up with the best list I could.
I wish you had the stats, sales figures, and team size of each of these Amway diamonds. That would really make this article more objective. I know that information is not public knowledge though, so I think you did a great job with the information you did have.
Yes, if I had that information, writing this list would have been easy peasy.
Great list. I’m surprised who took the top spot as the # 1 Amway Diamond of all time.
Yes, that was the hardest part of writing this post, figuring out who would be the # 1 Amway Diamond of all time. If I was to rewrite the post, I would definitely move a few people around, especially in the top five positions.
Wow, you sure did put a lot of work into this post. I read online more than 5,000 people have hit that rank in Amway so coming up with the top 27 is quite impressive. Good job.
Yes, Amway had thousands of Diamonds through the years. I’m not sure who is still active or qualified, but I know there are a bunch of Amway Diamonds, especially considering the company does around $8 billion in yearly sales.
Whaooo, Charlie & Elsie Marsh my favorites.
Yes, Charlie and Elsie are definitely legends in the industry, and in Amway.
What a great list, Chuck. I’m pretty familiar with Amway and I think you did a great job with your rankings.
Thanks, Alex. This post was fun to do, but it was a ton of work. I’ll go an update it again in another few years. By that point, I’m sure there will be some small changes to my list.
I went Direct under Jimmy Head and Al Gallo and was in many of the Leadership functions with WWDB and the Puryear’s, Duncan’s, Dave Severn my all-time favorite as I am CPA just like him working for E&Y before and RP54 is what did it for me, I decided not to pursue further after Direct but I made some money and learned a lot and people that are negative about the situation are lame and need to grow up.
Michael,
Thanks for sharing your Amway story. It must have been fun to work with Jimmy and Al. I listened to both of them speak during my time in Amway. Did you ever do another network marketing company after Amway, or did you just focus on your career?
Chuck
One of my all-time favorite triple crown diamonds are Brad and Julie Duncan
I met Brad and Julie Duncan many years back at one of the Amway WWDB Spring Leadership functions. He has a great personality and made me laugh. One thing I really liked about him was how simple he explained everything. From what I found online, they have rank advanced to Crowns.
I was involved in the business back in 1980 under Bob Crisp. What has impressed me to this day about the diamonds is their motivational speaking abilities. Whether the majority of their profits were from the products or the tools, it always boiled down to the ability of one person to motivate another. I can’t say anything about their level of success, but I remember attending the “Crisp March Rally” in 1981, and a diamond by the name of Robert Andreas gave a speech on Friday evening which later became a tape entitled “NEXT”. To this day, I’ve never heard a better motivational speech.
Being an engineer, I ran the math on the business, and it is an axiom that at any given time, when following “the plan”, only about 2% of the people will be “successful”, where “success” is defined as being a direct or higher. Considering that only about 5% of ALL businesses started will still be in business after 5 years, it would follow that in MLMs, only about 2% of all businesses started will still be in business after 5 years. The difference being the initial investment. In 1980, the Amway initial investment was about $65.00, whereas the initial investment in most conventional businesses was hundreds of thousands (or more).
Also, some people call MLMs pyramid schemes. Yet, if one were to look at the “org chart” of any conventional corporation, they’d find it looks as much (if not more) like a pyramid than any MLM business. At least in an MLM, any person downline can easily pass a person upline (in terms of financial success). As an example, Bob Crisp (a tripple diamond) was sponsored by Bob Bolin (a diamond). How many managers and/or directors in corporations would willingly help a person under them to get to a higher position than themselves?
Today, as an engineer, I’m in the process of building a “social media” website, not unlike Facebook or Myspace that is entirely member supported, (no spam, no advertisers, and no member information available or for sale to anyone at any price), that is MLM in nature. That is, a member can sponsor other members, grow an organization, and make money as a result. Membership will be $15.71 per month, and there will be no initial investment, and no products to move. Simply an online community where members own all content they post, free from spam, and privacy protected. While I’m no great motivator, I believe this website will be a game changer in the MLM industry.
In the end, I agree with just about everyone you’ve mentioned, and would even add a few people to your list, and possibly even rearrange the order a bit. But everyone has their own opinions.
Keep on keeping on – Jim B.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, most businesses have a very high failure rate. Amway, and other MLMs, are no differently. But, not everyone who joins MLM joins for the money. Some join just to get a discount on their purchase. Others join for the social aspect and/or personal development. And many join just to make a few extra hundred bucks per month. Calling those folks failures because they didn’t make it to Platinum would be deceiving.
What I love most about this industry is the level playing field. There is practically ZERO financial risk, and in most cases, you can get started for less than $100. When compared to traditional business, that can be a much better option for most people.
Just my two cents.
Loved this article. I used to babysit for Jim and Nancy Dornan when their children were very young and they were just beginning their Amway journey. Their youngest Eric was disabled and I loved caring for him. I remember their garage being packed full of Amway products and I also remember they were extremely dedicated to building their business. Now looking back and also being involved with a direct selling company I understand their dedication and what they were trying to achieve…to build a life where their children, especially Eric could be cared for in the very best way. I’m so happy to know they had extreme success!
Yes, the Dornan’s are an amazing Amway success story. Their business is still going strong today, nearly 40-years later. Sadly, Jim recently passed away a few years back. I’m not sure if Nancy is still running their business or not.
Are you still in touch with her? It would be neat to hear an update as to how the family is doing.
It was amazing reading this list, Chuck. Amway is definitely a power house. I’ve had several friends try the business in the past without huge success. Maybe they just weren’t a good fit for sales or entrepreneurship. Who knows? The only real problem I can think of is because Amway has been around so long, most people have heard of it, and already have their own opinion of it. That being said, I like the idea that you can start a part-time business for just a few hundred dollars and have the opportunity to do something amazing.
Good old Amway! Millions of people love them. Millions of people hate them. Despite the critics, Amway has its act together. To get to nearly $8 to $10 BILLION in yearly sales is NO JOKE. Also, the training you receive in Amway is amazing. Most of my top earner friends in this industry got their start in Amway. That’s where they learned sales, leadership, recruiting, goal setting and many other important things.
The Amway Diamonds are the cream of the crop. What I find fascinating about many of these Diamonds is that they have been earning a steady check from Amway every month for DECADES. Folks, that is true residual income. That is every network marketer’s dream.
I loved reading this post about the Amway Diamonds, Chuck. I can’t believe you invested so much time researching the information. Thanks for doing that.
Glad I could be of help.
Amway is the biggest and best. Yes, they have a lot of haters, but no other company in this industry has this many great success stories. I love reading about these Amway Diamonds. I wonder how many of them are still active in the business?
Many of them are still active in the business. Many of the old timers are dying off, sadly. I’m sure some have lost their rank, but I know many of them are going strong and still have a nice residual income from work they did many years ago.
First of all, great post Chuck! You deserve a lot of props for putting this together, which I imagine took a while.
If you were to rewrite the post today 2018, would any of the candidates on the list change? If I remember correctly, you used to be in Amway, right?
Cheers
Nick
Amway was my first company. I can review this list, but I doubt much has changed since I made this post.
Ah, I see. Have most of these diamond’s businesses stood the test of time) (eg. still being run today)
Did you ever get the opportunity to meet Bill Britt (which I saw was your personal favorite in another comment)
I would say most of them still have businesses or have sold them to someone who still owns the business. Never met Bill Britt, although he did attend one of our conventions. I would have loved to spend a day with him and pick his brain.
Hi, just read this post. Do you happen to know of any successful Deaf IBOs in Amway or LTD? And any successful IBOs who face a mental illness?
Sorry, David. I don’t know any deaf IBOs in Amway. I would reach out to their corporate office and see if they can help you find a distributor to work with. I’m sure they can.
Hey, David. I’m currently a World Wide Dream Builder up in the Seattle area. My wife and I have a pretty big deaf organization cross-line from us. There’s an ASL interpreter for every meeting.
Is amway still breaking diamonds today?
Some, but very few in the USA. Mostly overseas.
Amway grows in waves. It tends to be in decade long spurts. This year in our team, Leadership Team Development, under the Larry Winters Organization has seen multiple folks go diamond.
It’s normal for the growth to follow a pattern. With Amway being Sixty years old it’s a given that many folks who knew about Amway in the past are passing on and a new ears are maturing and become of age for business ownership. We are currently entering one of the rising waves this next year, it’s expected to be a huge year for breaking Platinums and Other higher earning businesses.
The LTD team broke 2 new Diamonds in 2018, 4 new Diamonds in 2019, and 3 more have already qualified for 2020. We anticipate 6 with over 100 NEW platinum qualifiers this year.
That is just one distribution team.
That’s awesome, John. It sounds like LTD is doing great things. Thanks for the update.
These organizations make/Made their $$ from selling tapes and books and rally’s.
There are not enough tapes sold to = the amount of $$$ these diamonds have made.
How did you get educated for your profession?
Yes, many do make money from tools. I’m not sure of the percentage breakdown of Amway income vs. tool income. That being said, most of these people have built big organizations with millions of dollars in Amway products being sold, purchased and consumed each year, which in return provides a great Amway income as well.
Keep on keeping on
I remember Bill Britt saying that many times!
Great article and I have many fond memories and pictures from my experience with Amway. Got sponsored in the early 80’s and stayed with it until my upline Ron and Melanie Rummel was terminated. Nolan and Hulda Dunlap came to Dallas to try to salvage the remnant and considered those who were terminated as “idiots” who left a lot of people high and dry. I always thought the concept was great and when Quixtar came around that things were going to explode with the catalog business and new products and partnerships that came with it. I still have some relics of those days…my dry-erase board, my monogrammed briefcase, my 1000, and 2500 pins and the Amagrams with my name in them. Many pictures of my upline and fellow distributors who have became lifelong friends. How did so many mess this up? Like anything else it was not for everybody…but for those who were able to withstand the negativity with integrity, I’ve met some people who are still hero’s to me through helping others built their dreams.
James,
I was in Ron and Mel’s group under Stan and Ruth Evans for years. We were Directs with two direct legs.
I am sorry he did not include Stan and Ruth who were among the very first CROWNS in the whole Amway business. Still use the products and will always remember our wonderful line of sponsorship. I cherish all the values that Amways taught us.
Peace, friend. Shirley Weaver,
Hi we were under Trevor and Jackie Lowe in Brighton UK Diamonds we went to visit Rex and Betty Jo Renfrew and Bill Britt houses whilst on a seminar in South Carolina about 40 years ago. We made Silver, but sadly did not continue. Do you know of the Lowe’s?
I’ve never heard of the Lowe’s but there are a lot of Diamonds I have never heard of before. Hitting SILVER is a great achievement. You should be proud. What made you stop doing the business? Did you do any network marketing companies after you left Amway? Would love to hear the second chapter of your story, Pauline.
OK…I know, from the inside, that making a significant amount of $$$ from Amway is similar to winning a lottery i.e. vs the total number. The key is to finding folk who are essentially as committed as you are, or even more. You need to be glib, and pursuasive and essentially dedicate all you time to it….for years. And yes you essentially need to bend the truth/lie about ‘if you work hard you will be successful’, whilst not being successful yourself. The simple fact is that some people have got what it takes, but the vast majority do not. The Plan is designed that way, because of math itself.
The upside is that a good Amway distributor organisation has a wonderful ‘vibe’ to it i.e. positive thinking. Just be aware with all the costs (excess product/motivational tapes/driving/clothing/phone/other) you ‘statistically will (probably) lose money. But my observation is, you’ll become better equiped to understand people. Sincerely, Heinrich
Heinrich I appreciate your honesty. I understand now that the worst that can happen is I don’t make a big income income ( or perhaps any), but I can become better at interacting with people. For me that’s very important. Almost like learning a very important life skill. Or something like that.
I agree. You do need to develop special skills to succeed in Amway, just like any other business. I believe that most businesses, in any industry, typically take several years to make money and five to ten years to succeed in a big way.
Are there exceptions to the rule? Of course. Most people who join Amway, or any other network marketing company, do not treat their business as seriously as someone who started a traditional business. This is the number 1 reason for failure as I see it. To go Diamond requires a big vision, incredible work ethic, and mental toughness. You won’t get there treating your business like a hobby.
Just my two cents.
These Amway Diamonds are amazing. I can see that many of these folks have been earning big incomes with Amway for 30-40 years. To me, that is true residual income. Not many companies in this industry have been around that long. I also know that many people quit Amway during that time. It seems like just sticking with it is more than half of the battle.
That should be everyone’s goal in our industry: long-term residual income. That’s why it’s vital to position yourself with a rock solid company that has its act in order. Most companies in our industry don’t make it past their first few years in business. It’s impossible to create long-term residual income if you have to keep finding a new opportunity every few years.
I am trying to get ahold of either Joanne or Ralph Rosato. I believe they were Diamond Club members back in the 70s or 80s. I am trying to trace roots in the Doerge-Journeay (mine-Joannes’). If you could pass this on to someone who could be of any assistance I would appreciate it. We were both raised by the Doerge/Journeay families on Staten Island, NY back in the 50s. THANKS!!
That’s awesome, Charles. Hopefully, someone reading this comment thread will see your comment and know something and be able to help you.
I have been an Amway distributor for the past 6 years. I think Amway is a very good MLM company. They have top notch products that last a long time and they have competitive prices. They offer a lot of rewards to their distributors and the whole system is set a bit better (in my opinion) than any other MLM out there.
If I were to guess I would say there are more than 10.000 Diamonds in the world. I’m thinking over 20.000 all over the world, but I can’t tell for sure.
They are a good company, but not the only good company in our industry. I’m not sure how many Diamonds there are that are active and currently qualified with that rank, but I’m sure it’s a big number. I hope you enjoyed the post. Good luck in your business.
Wow! The comments are just about as exciting as the post was. Amway was the first NWM company I ever heard of. It’s nice to know they are still around! You did a fabulous job on sharing about the diamonds. I’m sure it really made you proud to be a part of the company at one time.
It was a great experience overall being part of the company.
Hi Chuck, Actually David and Nadia Comyns were the couple who put Amway on the map in Australia, when David and Nadia became the first Crown Directs outside of North America in seven (7) years in 1978, with 23 legs. They were among the first four people to join the fledgling company when it tip-toed into Australia in April, 1971., along with David’s late parents, the Diamonds John and Dorothy Comyns. It was David who saved the company in OZ, for the products were all made here initially, and it was all rubbish, for no company wanted competition from the Yanks, so David insisted on the products being imported from the States. The rest is history. On the other hand, the Sala group took all of twenty (20) years to become Crown – which now takes 18 legs – with David Comyns as the Sala up-line. David extols the virtues of shouting the word AMWAY from the rooftops to everyone, and retailing the products as well as sponsoring, while the so-called ‘Networkers’ prefer to deny the name and creep up on people, showing the plan alone without looking deeply at the sin of Retailing. Eight years of pioneering to reach the top, against the negative publicity about ‘Pyramid Schemes’, against twenty years in an easier climate, without concentrating on selling as well as ‘showing the plan’? Is there a lesson there?
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing this great information.
Yes I agree with you,
I sell about 2000-3000 pv worth products every month to my retail customers. I never told to join the business (of course it took almost 3 yesrs to reach this level) When my customer base grew, the customers who were buying regularly, I told to sign up and save money ( I let go of my retail profits). Now I have 7 direct down lines who are also great at selling Amway products, Each one of them sells close to 1000 pv, we are group of 12 crazy sales people who enjoy their work in Amway, sharing the great products helping people. And of course making some decent money on the side. (All of us have regular jobs/business)
That’s awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Amway is very active in South Florida where I live
I have personally known at least 3 new Crown Ambassadors from the last two years: Jose Bobadilla from Colombia, Ángel & Maite de la Calle from Spain and Patrick & Joyce Joe from Thailand.
We belong to the AP “Team Global” coming from Tim Foley.
I’ll pass on the offer to join Amway, but thanks anyway. I’m happy with what I am doing now.
Those are incredible testaments to the success one can achieve in Amway or other reputable MLM companies. When you pointed out the fact that they started decades before the internet was available, boy, that brought back memories. I chuckled when I read “the 3-foot rule” and “3-way calls”. Those are still good practices today, but I haven’t heard those terms in a very long while.
My mom became an Amway distributor in the 60’s because the products were biodegradable. We lived on a lake and the resident’s around the lake all had pipes dumping the laundry water into the beautiful lake! Mom was green before the term was coined. She was very concerned about the health of our lake. I then became a distributor in my 20’s. My sponsor and his wife were very nice, but they absolutely insisted that I not tell anyone that I was inviting them to an Amway demonstration. Several of my good friends came for the first presentation that lasted almost two hours. During that two hours, a few of them asked, “is this Amway?” I felt so uncomfortable and my sponsor asked them to please be patient and to continue to listen to the presentation. When it came out that he was in fact presenting Amway, my friends felt duped and I felt like a crook. I loved the products, but I don’t think I ever gave another presentation.
Is it still called Away? I know the name was or has changed over the years.
Thanks for the success stories and history of such a successful company.
Yes, Amway is still going strong.
The Amway name is still strong, but for awhile they tried to bring it more online and marketed that part of the business as Quixtar.
I think Quixtar was a good idea. I was a distributor with them for a few years. They were just ahead of their time with the online shopping. But, that seems to be the trend today, cash back for online purchases.
Chuck, Mitch & Diedre didn’t put Amway on the map in Australia. Most of their business is outside of Australia. Peter and Helen McKenna along with other couples such as Peter & Lyn Maddison, Craig & Anna Deane built Amway Australia from the ground up. They had 30,000 people coming to events in the mid 90’s.
Thanks for the information Dom!
Peter and Debbie Cox, Diamonds in Australia!….. Heard them speak at Amway Grand Plaza HQ in Michigan
That’s awesome, Carol. When did you hear them speak?
You forget the mighty Tom and Caryn Avelsgarde who were key figures in in the growth of Amway in Australia in the 80s and 90s and drove the growth of the Yeager system in Australia
Awesome. Never heard of them before, Stephen. There are so many amazing current and former Diamonds.
Very nice information. I am proud with Amway.
You say you are proud of Amway Balchand, are you a member or distributor? I am just curious.
My mate works as a teacher at 2 different places and at one of those, the head person has recently re-involved herself with Amway. It had been a long time since I used any Amway products and Maggie came home with a batch of vitamin and mineral supplements. They are somewhat expensive, but I am feeling like a young man again.
Yes, I have a pride in Amway also.
I had noticed in your list Chuck that you mentioned a few that had their Amway membership terminated.
I must first commend Amway if they did this because of using inaccurate demonstrations or telling false information. I believe all network marketing companies should use this example.
I just wanted to recommend that you do a post on the reasons some have been terminated. This can help people not make the same mistakes. Amway is a top MLM company world wide and anyone who is a member should know the rights and wrongs in the company’s system.
It could also be that some terminated were done so wrongfully by Amway. It would also be good to know if this was so.
Thank you Chuck. This was a great article.
Amway won’t typically publish WHY they terminated someone, so we can only speculate.
It has zero per cent tolerancr policy. So if anybody doing business unethically, it terminates him
Some huge organizations were terminated because they objected to what many of us saw as unethical policies of the corporation under Jay and Rich’s heirs. I was part of a mass exodus when leaders were terminated in the middle of negotiations.
Sorry to hear about that. I know many leaders were terminated or left. Hopefully, they found new homes they can get excited about and build with long term.
Bill Britt was one of those individuals who understood that possibilities and opportunities are in front of everyone, and through our own power and perseverance, we seize those opportunities and turn them into successes. Bill’s 1.5 million distributors show his determination. He created jobs, a company which would continue for years after his passing, and most importantly he became a strong example of a commendable entrepreneur.
I admire Bill Britt, and though he passed away in January of 2013, his legacy lives on. His strength and stability show that he was a true man of excellence: a perpetually praiseworthy quality.
Yes, Bill Britt was a legend and one of my favorite Amway reps of all time.
Amway Diamonds always inspire and empower me. I find that the successes and values of Bill Britt, though, stand out the most. He was a man of freedom, hard work, entrepreneurship, and a proud supporter of Amway. Amway, being a large and ferocious company to help entrepreneurs succeed, has paved the way for people with dreams to accomplish their goals since 1959. Among these people stands Bill Britt.

Yes, Bill Britt was an amazing guy, leader and Amway rep! His spirit definitely lives on.
Bill Britt was an extrordinary individual. Even though he has passed on, there are many lessons we can still learn from this Amway legend. I had run across an excellent biography of Bill Britt’s life at this blog: Bill Britt Legend
Doug explains everything Bill went through and achieved.
If network marketers all could duplicate the methods Bill Britt used in his Amway career, they all would be doing very well.
Yes, Bill Britt was a legend. He was a bulldog. He was a man’s man. He wasn’t perfect, but I learned a lot about leadership from this guy.
Do you know juan and alissa rellas
No, I do not.
I thought the blog post was absolutely fantastic as it provided me with an insight into the importance of network marketing for individuals as well as organizations as a whole. Business leaders such as Dexter Yager and Max Scharz helped to create Amway the way they wanted it to be. There have been many success stories over the years; however, none have been as awe inspiring as those of the top Amway earners and their team. The top leaders all had the drive and determination tocreate the kind of life they wanted for themselves as well as their family which is why they achieved their dream.
While many people achieved wealth beyond their wildest dreams they did not have the same influence as Barry Chi and Holly Chen. The couple had more diamonds as well as other distributors than anyone else in the organization. Other leader’s had business interests in Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada and New Zealand; however, their down line did not have the same depth as Barry and Holly Chen’s.
In conclusion I would suggest Dexter Yager is a close second; however, even his influence is not as significant as Barry Chi and Holly Chen’s as the couple created a larger dynasty than their closest competitor could hope to achieve.
Yes, Barry and Holly built a huge organization. Dexter is right up there with them though.
There are a lot of great names here and all of their stories are really inspiring. But I think my favorite listed here of Max Schwarz. He and his late wife Marianne started from scratch in 1977 and eventually spread their business from Germany into Poland, Austria, Italy, Hungary and Russia. His downline is super impressive and even after decades in the business, he remains focused and motivated. Even more inspirational, his children have followed in his footsteps, with daughter Anja taking over his business in Austria.|The other thing I really like about Max is that he is also very willing to help other work towards his level of success. His “Max Club” helps train and motivate others to reach their diamond qualification and he spends numerous hours every week mentoring and advising people who aren’t even in his downline. He’s he best of what Amway has to offer and he’s had a huge impact on everyone who’s worked with him.
Yes, they are definitely on my list. Him and his daughter built huge Amway businesses.
This just goes to show that Amway will always be a strong force in the MLM arena. I often hear people say that the market is too saturated, or there are too many distributors in my area. These are just excuses. If a person has the desire and perseverance, Amway is still a great program with wonderful products and the ability to make money beyond a person’s wildest dreams. As they say: you just gotta believe.
Amway is far from saturated. Yes, most people know about it. But people still join the company every single day. It really boils down to whether it is a good fit for each person. That would take some due diligence.
Robert and Lois Stonelake were probably kicking themselves after selling their down line in the 1980’s. After they put that much work into their business, I hope that they got a high sales price. Still, MLMs are like anything else in the business world: there are natural ebbs and flows in value. I wonder what they got into after Amway, and if they met the same level of success there.
I was intrigued to learn that the founder of Amway (or at least a co-founder), Richard M. DeVos. owns an NBA team. How many MLM business owners can say that?!
Good point about the Stonelake’s. It sounds like they got a fair price.
Knowledge is not enough, having the desire to dream is the only key to success in this industry.
Dreaming is overrated. Having the desire to WORK is what it takes to succeed. You can dream until the cows come home, but until you roll up your sleeves and get busy nothing will happen.
I totally agree with Chuck on his idea on dreaming too. Yes, it is good to have a dream, but if that is what you think will make success, good luck with that. I know there are some who put that picture of a mansion or a Ferrari on their car rear view mirror and say over and over they are going to have that, but unless they get out and meet, share and sell, they will never get it unless a rich uncle dies and leaves it to them.
Yep, dreaming can be overrated.
Vira Arkhipova and Oleksiy Mautanov are Founders Crown Ambassadors in Amway Ukraine. An Amway Founders Crown Ambassador is someone with 20 legs who qualify at the Silver level for all 12 months of the Amway fiscal year. In my opinion, that’s pretty impressive.
The couple participates in the Network 21 line of sponsorship, which provides motivation, training and business support materials to its Amway distributors. This includes seminars, conferences, websites, books, tapes, coaching and other business support materials.
According to several internet reports, they are included in the top 400 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. With more than 2,000 MLM Companies in business, that is no small feat!
When it comes to building a large Amway business, Vira Arkhipova and Oleksiy Mautanov know what they are doing. They are some of the top leaders in Amway and they have a downline that spans the globe. They are exceptional leaders, trainers, recruiters and motivators. If you are considering joining Amway, you should look for a successful sponsor, just like this couple. They can definitely help you succeed.
Their upline Diamonds are Double Diamonds Marek and Izabella Bujwiccy. If you have ever worked with them personally, please share your story by leaving a comment to this post. Tell us whatever you can about them, your experience in their downline, and the system. Thanks.
Mikio and Yuka Kaku are Amway Crown Ambassadors from Japan. They reached that achievement level in 2008. They’ve been involved in the Amway business for many years (close to three decades now) and have developed a great reputation as leaders, motivators, recruiters and trainers.
Mikio and Yuka Kaku built their Amway business the old fashioned way, by talking with friends, strangers, and family members. They shared the products and business opportunity via in-home meetings, one-on-one meetings and three-way calls. From day one, they treated their business very seriously. They are still active in the business today.
I have no idea who their line of sponsorship is, but I do know that their upline Diamond is Takeshi and Hidemi Azumi. According to one internet report, they are some of the top earners in the entire network marketing industry, ranked # 147 of 400. They have a large downline, with tens of thousands of distributors, mostly in the Asian markets.
This couple is a true credit to Amway and the network marketing industry. Anyone that’s achieved this level of success, and maintained it for so many years, definitely knows what they are doing. I credit their success to their work ethic, hard work, leadership and perseverance. This is the type of couple you would want as your sponsor.
If you have ever worked with Amway Japan Crown Ambassadors Mikio and Yuka Kaku, I would like to hear from you. Please share your experience working with the couple. Just leave a comment to this post to get started. Thanks.
Luo Bin and Zheng Wei Liang are Amway Crown Ambassadors in China. Their upline Diamonds are Zheng Yu Mei. They joined Amway many years ago and built their Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with their friends and family. Over the years, they have built a large downline throughout Asia. As of today, they are some of the most respected leaders in all of Amway.
According to a recent internet report, they are ranked as the # 175 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. That’s pretty impressive, considering there are more than 50 million people in this industry. As you can tell, they are dynamic leaders, trainers, recruiters, excellent motivators, and awesome mentors. They know how to build a large network marketing downline and sustain it for many years. That’s something that very few people ever do.
I’m trying to find out more information about this couple, such as:
1) Are they still active in the business?
2) Have you ever met them before?
3) How big is their group?
4) What AMO do they participate in?
5) How many downline Diamonds do they have on their team?
6) What year did they join Amway?
If you have ever worked with Amway China Crown Ambassadors Luo Bin and Zheng Wi Liang, I would love to hear from you. Please share your personal story with the rest of our online community.
Nanae and Seisuke Arima are Amway Crown Ambassadors in Japan. They reached that pin level in 1996. I’m not sure which Amway Motivational Organization they participate in or who their upline Diamond is.
According to one online website, they are one of the top 400 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. I’m not sure if that’s true or not. In either case, they are in the top 100 earners in the Amway business, too.
When they first got involved with Amway, they grew their business by hosting in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations. As they sponsored new distributors, they helped them sponsor new distributors and find new customers. They simply repeated this process until they had a large group.
This couple is the eptiome of the network marketing industry. If you want to make it in this industry, you should model their work ethic and leadership. Simply put, they are an amazing MLM Success Story.
Soomboon and Manwiga Khunkhlai are Crown Ambassadors from Amway Thailand. They joined Amway in 1987. Within one year they reached the Ruby pin. They reached Diamond in June 1990 and finally hit Double Diamond, Triple Diamond and Crown Ambassador all in the same year (2003). That is very impressive.
They built their Amway business the old-fashioned way. They held in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations for friends and family members. They also prospected strangers by using the three-foot rule. As you can tell, they are great recruiters.
As they sponsored new distributors, they worked with them personally and helped them succeed. Over time, they built a huge organization that now spans the globe. According to one internet report, they are the # 160 income earners in the entire network marketing industry.
They are affiliated with the TOP4 line of sponsorship. TOP4 provides training, motivation and business support materials to help Amway distributors grow their business. TOP4 holds conferences and seminars, and sells business tools such as books, tapes, websites and CDs.
With so many Amway Horror Stories out there, it’s nice to read about people who achieve success with Amway. One thing I really admire about this couple is that they rolled up their sleeves and did the work. Few distributors ever do that. They consistently prospected, found customers, showed the plan and built a team. When they faced obstacles, they pressed forward. And they made a lasting commitment to build their Amway business. As a result, they achieved monumental success.
Chan Koon Tin was a legend in the Amway business. He joined Amway in 1978 and went Diamond in 1982. He ultimately achieved the level of Crown Ambassador.
His downline spans the globe and has more than 600 Diamonds in it. He has downline distributors in Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia.
His upline diamond is Foo Howe Kean & Shu Chen. He participated in the 3S Global training system. 3S Global is a line of sponsorship within the Amway business. It provides training, motivation and business support materials for Amway distributors.
He grew his business by sharing the products and business opportunity with friends, family-members and casual acquaintances via in-home meetings, three-way calls, and one-on-one presentations. Whenever he sponsored someone new, he helped them get started right.
He was a very dynamic leader who helped many other people build large and profitable Amway businesses. He had exceptional leadership, communication, recruiting and motivational skills. He was the type of person you would want as a sponsor. Sadly, he passed away in March 2010.
If you ever worked with him while building your Amway business, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us how you met Chan Koon Tin, when you worked with him, and what you learned from him. Just leave a comment to this post.
Natalya Yena is a success story in the Amway business. She is a Founders Crown Ambassador in the Ukraine and a Crown Ambassador in Russia. She is associated with the Diamond Alliance Training System.
Diamond Alliance is an Amway Motivational Organization. It provides books, CDs, seminars, websites, toll free numbers, and other business support materials for its Amway distributors. The purpose of the group is to train and motivate its distributors, so they can build a successful Amway business.
I’m not sure when Natalya Yena joined the Amway business, but I do know that her upline Diamond is Katalin and Atilla Gidofalvi. They have since been terminated by Amway for a rules violation.
Her business is located mostly in Russia and the Ukraine, but she does have dowline distributors in other countries too. She built her business the old-fashioned way. She got started by sharing the products with friends, family-members and prospects. She did one-on-one presentations, in-home meetings and conference calls to grow her business.
She is one of the top distributors in all of Amway. She is a dynamic leader, speaker, trainer and motivator. Natalya Yena is a credit to Amway and the MLM Industry. If you have ever worked with her personally, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us how you met her, when you worked with her, and what you learned from her. Jennifer and Johnson Tu are Amway Taiwan Crown Ambassadors. They joined Amway in 1988 and quickly progressed to Diamond in about four years. It took them a total of 12 years to reach the status of Crown, sometime around the year 2000. Their upline Diamonds are Barry and Holly Chen.

According to one internet report, they are the number #137 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. That’s no small feat. With more than 1,000 different MLM Companies worldwide, and 50 million distributors globally, this is a significant accomplishment.
Their success is a direct result of their strong work ethic, commitment to excellence, discipline, and perseverance. They are dynamic leaders who understand how to recruit, motivate and train others. They are the ultimate Amway and network marketing success story.
What I find most exciting about this couple is that they built their Amway business before the invention of the internet. That means they prospected strangers, worked with friends and family, utilized the three-foot rule, and built their business with one-on-one presentations and in-home meetings. Simply put, they focused on “old school” MLM techniques and achieved huge success.
If you have ever worked with Amway Taiwan Crown Ambassadors Johnson and Jennifer Tu, I would love to hear from you. Please tell us when you met them. How long were you involved in the business? What did you learn from them? How did they help you succeed? What do you remember most about them? Just leave a comment to this post to share your thoughts.
Morihiko and Seiko Kitakon are Amway Crown Ambassadors from Japan. They started their Amway business in 1987. Since then, they have become some of the top producers in Amway Japan. They went Diamond in 1989 and Crown in 1997. I’m not sure of their current pin level or status with the company.
When they first got involved with Amway, they started their business by sharing the products and business opportunity within their sphere of influence, to include friends and family members. The also prospected strangers and worked with referrals. As they sponsored new Amway distributors, they started building their business in depth, by working with downline distributors. Since then, they have built a sales organization that spans the globe and has tens of thousands of distributors.
They are key leaders in the HECKEL training system. They participate in rallies, seminars and training events across the world to help other Amway distributors achieve success. HECKEL provides training, motivation, tapes, books, seminars, websites and other business support materials to its Amway distributors. Their upline Diamonds are Hidekazu and Yuki Kajihara.
Anyone who has built and maintained a profitable Amway business for more than 25 years definitely knows what they are doing. If you live in Japan, and are thinking about joining Amway, you should look this couple up, so they can sponsor you. You will be glad that you did.
In conclusion, this couple is a true credit to Amway and the entire network marketing industry. They are wonderful leaders, recruiters, trainers, motivators and entrepreneurs. They deserve the success they’ve achieved because they’ve helped so many others do what they’ve done.
If you have ever worked with Amway Japan Crown Ambassadors Morihiko and Seiko Kitakon personally, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us when you worked with them, what you learned from them, and how long you were involved in their downline. I look forward to hearing from you.

According to several internet reports, they are included in the top 400 earners in the entire network marketing industry. That’s no small feat considering there are several thousand network marketing companies in business today.
If you have ever worked with Amway Japan Crown Ambassadors FAA 30 Points Members Tomoko and Shuji Hammamoto, I would love to hear from you. Please tell us when you met them, how long you have known them, and how they’ve helped you achieve success.
Max Schwarz is a legend in the Amway business. He is currently a Founders Crown Ambassador with 60 FAA points. He joined the company in November 1977 and quickly advanced through the ranks.
It took him approximately 3.5 years to reach the rank of Diamond. He qualified Double Diamond the same year. Since then, he has become a Founders Crown Ambassador in Germany, a Crown Ambassador in several other countries, and a Diamond or above in many other countries. Simply put, he is a network marketing success story.
He built his Amway business by sharing the business opportunity with friends, family-members and acquaintances via one-on-one meetings, hotel meetings, and in-home meetings. As he sponsored new Amway distributors, he helped them find new customers and downline distributors.
His business spreads throughout Europe, and the rest of the world, in countries such as Germany, Austria, Italy, Russia, Poland and Czechoslovakia. Some of his successful downline diamonds include Anja Schwarz, Hans and Olga Weibl, Hans Nusshold, Max Metzger and Edgar and Isabella Kummer.
He is a dynamic leader and motivator. He is a master recruiter and trainer. Most importantly, he knows how to help others succeed. He is great at sponsoring people, sharing his knowledge with them and helping them achieve success with Amway. If you were going to join Amway today, you would want a sponsor like Max Schwarz.

Ryusuke and Elaine Seto are Crown Ambassadors with Amway Japan. They joined Amway many years ago, and began building their Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with their personal sphere of influence. Over the course of many years, they built a large downline that now spans the world.
According to one internet report, they are ranked as the number 157 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. Personally, I find that very impressive. That puts them in the top 1% of the top 1% of all earners. They reached the Crown Ambassador level in 1996. I’m not sure of their current pin level, or if they are still active in the business.
Obviously, they are great leaders who know how to build a large and profitable Amway business. They are great motivators who understand recruiting, sponsoring, training, and helping others. Some of the reasons they’ve achieved such huge success with Amway is their strong work ethic, their burning desire to succeed, their commitment to treat their business like a real business, and perseverance. Most distributors who join the company don’t work even 1% as hard as this couple did.
After doing some research about them online, I couldn’t figure out there line of sponsorship, system, or upline Diamond. If you know any of that information, please leave a comment to this post. Or, if you have ever worked with Amway Japan Crown Ambassadors Ryusuke and Elaine Seto personally, leave a comment to this post to tell us your story.
Sony & Guat Hwa Ho are Amway Malaysia Crown Ambassadors. According to one internet report, they are the # 159 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. And they are definitely some of the top 50 earners in all of Amway. With more than 50 million network marketers from more than 1,000 different MLM Companies, this is a major accomplishment.
The couple joined the Amway business sometime around the late 1970s or early 1980s. I couldn’t find the exact date online. I also couldn’t find out who their sponsor or upline Diamond are.
From day one, they treated their Amway business like a real business. They got started with their Amway business by sponsoring some friends and family members. As they sponsored new distributors, they built depth in their organization. They kept driving each leg of their organization deep until they found a few key leaders. At that point, they started working with the leaders.
Over a few short years, they built an organization that does business in several different countries. In addition, it has tens of thousands of distributors and continues to grow each year. Most importantly, they’ve continued to maintain and grow their business for close to 30 years now. That’s amazing.
They have personally mentored hundreds of people and have helped many of them achieve success with Amway. This speaks volumes about their leadership, communication, network marketing, and motivational skills. They are a true credit to Amway and the network marketing industry.
They are affiliated with the CVI line of sponsorship. The CVI training system provides business support materials, books, training, and seminars for its Amway distributors. The couple is still actively building their business by sponsoring new distributors, working in depth, and speaking at events.
If you have ever worked with Crown Ambassadors Sonny and Guat Hwa Ho of Amway Malaysia, I would love to hear from you. Please tell the rest of our community (1) when you worked with them, (2) when you met them, (3) where you were in their downline, and (4) what level of success you achieved with Amway.
Yes,they are my ancestor in Amway Malaysia business. They started their business in late June 1976 and their upline sponsor are Founders Emerald Gary & Susan Giam (According to amwaywiki, Amway Malaysia sponsored Gary & Susan and they in turn sponsored 3 distributors, including Diamond Alfred & Hamidah Hendroff and Emerald Lee Kai Loong & Lam Kwai Lim). Michael and Gaby Strachowitz are Amway Germany Crown Ambassadors. They’ve held that pin level since 1982. They joined the Amway business in 1977. They went Direct Distributor in less than six months. They have two front line diamonds, who are Georg and Karen Paulus and Gunther and Helga Schuster. They reside in Germany. Their upline Diamonds are Founder’s Crown Ambassadors FAA 50 Dr. Peter and Eva Muller-Meerkatz.
They built their Amway business by talking with friends and family via in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations. They also utilized the three foot rule and prospected strangers. Over a short period of time, they became master recruiters, building a large front-line of distributors.

Robert and Nicole Belli are Crown Ambassadors in the Amway business. They live in France. From what I found online, I believe they joined the Amway business sometime in the late 1970s or early 1980s. I’m not sure who their upline Diamond is or what training system they participate in.
They did a great job building Amway France. They have thousands of downline distributors throughout France. They got started in their Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with friends and family members. They taught their downline how to retail the products and sponsor new distributors. As a result of their exceptional leadership and outstanding sales and marketing skills, they became some of the top earners in all of Amway.
What I found most impressive is that this couple built their business before the invention of the internet. That means they had to use one-on-one presentations, in-home parties, hotel meetings, and three-way calls to build their group.
John and Pat Hendrickson are Amway Crown Ambassadors. They reached that achievement level in 1980. They joined the business in 1964, after attending a business opportunity meeting with Robert Stonelake (deceased). Prior to meeting their sponsor, they learned about the business opportunity from an Amway employee.
At the time, John was involved in Real Estate. But the Hendrickson’s quickly decided to build an Amway business instead. Pat built up a nice client base and John focused on sponsoring. Within a few short years, the couple built a large and profitable Amway business. They held in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations to share the business opportunity and products with potentail customers and distributors.
They participated in the International Connection Line of Sponsorship for many years, which provided training, motivation and business support materials for its Amway distributors. Recently, the International Connection merged with Network 21.
They live in the United States. They’ve been full-time in the business for more than 40 years now. Personally, I find that very impressive. Additionally, they have five adult children. Their upline Diamond is Robert Stonelake (deceased).
Simply put, John and Pat Hendrickson are the ultimate Amway success story. Very few distributors, from any company, ever achieve this type of success, or maintain it for more than 40 years. I credit their success to their integrity, their work ethic, their leadership and perseverance. If you have ever worked with this couple personally, I would love to hear from you. Just leave a comment to this post. Thanks.
Chan Lee Sean is an awesome success story in the Amway business. She learned about the Amway business from an old friend, Tan Kim Huat. What attracted her to the business was the low start-up cost. At the time, she was a stay-at-home mom, and wanted to improve her family’s financial situation.
She joined Amway back in 1976. She took her business very seriously and reached the Direct Distributor level (Platinum) in less than a year. She reached Diamond in 1983. Chan Lee Sean is currently a Crown Ambassador. She was the 3rd Crown Ambassador in Malaysia.

If you were going to join Amway right now, you would want a sponsor like Chan Lee Sean. I would describe her a a leader, motivator, master recruiter, trainer, and entrepreneur. She definitely knows a lot about network marketing and knows how to help others succeed.
Peter and Choi Kit Lee were the first Amway Crown Ambassadors in Malaysia and South East Asia. They joined Amway in 1981. It took them almost ten years to reach the Diamond level. Their upline Diamonds are Ho Meng Kaung and Doris Lee.

They are both still very involved with their Amway business. They travel across the country hosting seminars and open meetings in order to properly train their downline. As a result, they have experienced huge growth in their business.
They built their Amway business by retailing the products and by sharing the business opportunity with friends, family members and strangers. It’s really cool to think that they built their business using old school techniques, since they built the foundation of their business before the invention of the internet.
Through the years, they have come a long way. Their business now has tens of thousands of distributors in it. They have downline distributors in Malaysia, China, Australia, the Philippines and Taiwan.
Within the world of Amway, Peter and Choi Kit Lee are trusted leaders. They are excellent speakers, motivators and team builders. Shizunori and Meiko Yamamoto are Amway Crown Ambassadors from Japan. According to one online report, they are the # 158 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. Ranking that high in an industry with more than 50 million distributors worldwide is a fascinating accomplishment.
They got started in Amway more than 20 years ago. The couple started their Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with their friends and family via in-home meetings and one-on-one business presentations. To get prospects, they utilized the three foot rule and got referrals from other people.
They started sponsoring people right away and went on to achieve phenomenal success with the company. Since then, they have helped many people achieve success with Amway. Their organization has tens of thousands of distributors from many different countries.
As you can probably tell, they are exceptional leaders, recruiters, motivators and trainers. When it comes to network marketing, this couple is the cream of the crop. Leonard and Esther Kim are FAA 40 Points Crown Ambassadors in the Amway business. They live in Korea. The couple joined Amway in 1990 while they were living in America. About a year later, they decided to move back to Korea to grow their business overseas. Since then, their business has reached new heights.
Their downline currently has more than 400 Diamonds in it. In the year 2002, they broke 240 Diamonds in their organization. Most of their downline is in Korea, but they do have some distributors in the United States, too. In fact, their group is one of the fastest growing groups in all of Amway. Anyone who breaks 240 new Diamonds in one year definitely knows how to build a business!
They lead the World Wide Dream Builders Korea training system. Additionally, they are founding members of the TOP4 organization. They built their business through in-home meetings and one-on-one presentations; working with friends, family and strangers.
Apparently, Mr. Kim was an Amway customer for nearly 15 years, before anyone ever told him about the business opportunity. Amazing! So if you have customers in your group, make sure you share the business opportunity with them! Their upline Diamond is Eugene and Sarah Kim.
In my opinion, they are a true credit to our industry. They are exceptional leaders, motivators and trainers. If you have ever worked with Crown Ambassadors Leonard and Esther Kim, I would love to hear your story. Please tell us when you met them, how long you worked with them, and how they helped you. Just leave a comment to his post to share your thoughts. Thanks.
I wonder if Mr. Kim was a customer of the same Amway distributor for all of those fifteen years. If not, can you imagine being the Amway sales person (or people) who did not approach him about the business opportunity, and then watched someone else do it? It just goes to show, while you don’t want to be overly pushy about your business opportunity, you need to bring it up at some point!
He was a customer for many years, from what I found online, but he didn’t know about the business side of things during that time.
Khoo Chong Kok and Chai Koo are Amway Crown Ambassadors in Malaysia. Prior to joining the Amway business, he was an Engineer. They joined the business in January 1982. They went Diamond in 1992 and Crown Ambassador in January 2003. They are Emeralds in Australia, Diamonds in Korea, and Executive Diamonds in China. Their upline Amway Diamonds are Chan Koon tin and Chai Foong.
They built their Amway business by working with strangers, family and friends and by hosting in-home meetings and one-on-one business presentations. Although they were not an overnight success, they stuck with the business and built an enormous organization with more than 20,000 distributors. That’s no small feat.
They have a large team of distributors that spans many different countries to include Malaysia, Australia, China, Vietnam, the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong and many other countries.
From what I could find online, they participate with the CA Success Associates line of sponsorship. The purpose of CA Success Associates is to train and motivate its Amway distributors by providing books, tapes, seminars and business support materials. These business tools are sold for a profit.
Khoo Chong Kok and Chai Koo are exceptional leaders with dynamic leadership and communication skills. They are a true credit to the Amway business and the network marketing industry. Anyone who can build a downline that large, and maintain it for close to three decades definitely knows what they are doing.
If you have ever worked with them personally, I would love to hear from you. Please tell us how they helped you, when you worked with them, and where you were in their downline. Just leave a comment to this post to share your thoughts.

Kenny Chin is an Executive Diamond in Amway Malaysia. He joined the business in the early 1980s and went Platinum in 1986. It took him another 14 years, but he finally reached Diamond in 2000. From what I could find online, he is one of the most popular Diamonds in Malaysia. His upline Diamonds are Khu Chong Kok and Chai Choo. His sponsor is Kuala Lumpar.
When he joined his Amway business, he got started by working his warm market. Amway Malaysia was still fairly new at this time. He talked with friends and family and met with prospects. As he sponsored new Amway distributors, he helped them get started. He worked with his serious distributors to train and motivate them and to help them get their first few distributors started. As a result of his hard work, his organization now spans many different countries and has thousands of distributors.
I believe he participates with the CRADOR and CA Success Associates line of sponsorship. The CRADOR and CA Success Associates provide training, motivation and business support materials for its Amway distributors. This includes books, tapes, seminars, websites, and toll free numbers designed to help distributors build their business.
Amway Malaysia opened for business in 1976. It currently has approximately 200,000 distributors. Network marketing is very popular in Malaysia. Amway competes with several other large companies such as Nu Skin and Herbalife.
If you have ever worked with Amway Malaysia Executive Diamond Kenny Chin, I would love to hear from you. How did he help you? Where were you in his organization? How long were you involved? When were you involved? To share your thoughts, simply leave a comment to this post.

They also utilized the three-foot rule to meet new business prospects. When it comes to building a large MLM organization, this couple really knows what they are doing. They are excellent recruiters, motivators and trainers.
More importantly, they’ve been involved with Amway for a long time now and have maintained a large and profitable business throughout the years. That is a true measurement of their leadership skills. Very few distributors ever reach the same level of success this couple has, let alone maintain their success for decades.
If you have ever worked with Amway Poland Crown Ambassadors Marek and Izabella Bujwiccy, please share your experiences with the rest of our online community. What was the system like? What were they like? When did you work with them? How long were you involved with the business? I look forward to hearing from you.
Robert Angkasa is an Amway Crown in Indonesia. He built his Amway business by sharing the products and business opportunity with everyone he knew. He did one-on-one meetings, conference calls, hotel meetings and in-home meetings to find new customers and distributors.
According to one online website, he is one of the top 400 income earners in the entire network marketing industry. I’m not sure if that’s true or not. Either way, it’s very impressive.
He participates in Network 21, an Amway Motivational Organization designed to train and motivate its Amway distributors. Network 21 is a privately owned company, owned by Jim and Nancy Dornan. It is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. It provides tapes, books, CDs, seminars, websites and other business support materials.
Prior to joining Amway, he was an Engineer and Private Banker. He’s been full-time in Amway since 1994. His upline Diamond is Mitch and Deidre Sala. His sister and brother-in-law are also Crowns in the Amway business.
Simply put, Amway Crown Robert Angkasa is a legend in our industry. He is a superstar recruiter, motivator, trainer and leader. He’s successful because he has a big dream, he works hard and he is persistent. If you were going to join Amway today, Robert would be the ideal sponsor.
If you have ever worked with him personally, I would love to hear from you. When did you meet him? Where were you positioned in his group? How long were you involved with your Amway business? Just leave a comment to this post to share your story with the rest of our community. Thanks.
My husband and I were I Amway from 1990 to 2005. I saw many crooked happenings. People going bankrupt because they were trying to keep up with their uplines. And honest Diamonds and Emeralds literally thrown out of Amway. Away is the Devil itself.
Mike and Susan Bundy are very successful distributors in the Amway business. They are Founder’s Diamonds with the company. They joined Amway sometime around 1980, when Mike was approached by his friends, Larry and Pam Winters. They were the first couple that Larry and Pam ever sponsored.
They got started in Amway by sharing the products and business opportunity with friends, family-members and anyone they met in day-to-day life. They utilized in-home meetings, hotel meetings and one-on-one presentations to find new customers and distributors. This is frequently referred to as “Old School MLM.”
Since then, they’ve come a long way. Their downline now has thousands of Amway Distributors in it. They have many successful distributors in their downline to include Double Diamonds Joe and Marybeth Markiewicz, Alan and Michelle Leininger, and Doug and Amy Weir. There are also several Emeralds and many Platinum level distributors.
The Bundy’s participate in the LTD line of sponsorship. LTD stands for Leadership Team Development. The purpose of LTD is to educate its Amway distributors about how to build an Amway business. To do so, they offer tapes, books, seminars and other business support materials.
The Bundy’s are exceptional leaders with great people skills. They are the type of Amway sponsor you would want. If you have ever worked with them personally, I would love to hear from you. Please tell us when how you met them, when you worked with them, and what you learned from them. Just leave a comment to this post to share your thoughts.
I joined Ltd in Grand Rapids Michigan. Larry winters sounds very familiar, it was a small group of maybe 30 people.
Merritt and Beth Wiese are Founders Diamonds in the Amway business. My parents met them back in the late 1970s or early 1980s, while we were living in Nebraska. I was probably only two or three years old at the time.
My parents joined the Amway business and were part of the Wiese organization. To this day, my parents still speak very highly of the Wiese family. They said that they knew that Merritt and Beth Wiese would be Diamonds one day.
Merritt and Beth Wiese are associated with the InterNET line of sponsorship. InterNET provides training and motivation for Amway Distributors in its line of sponsorship. This includes tapes, books, seminars and other business support materials.
Merritt and Beth Wiese built their Amway business the old-fashioned way. They shared the products and business opportunity with friends and family members through in-home parties and one-on-one presentations.
They are a true Amway success story. Anyone who can maintain a profitable MLM business for 30+ years is worth writing about. If you’ve ever worked with Merritt or Beth, I would love to hear your story. Just leave a comment to this post.
The success stories of all of these people are inspiring, but I wonder: does this sort of success in MLM happen any more? (I mean, for those who stick to one line of business.) Or is the market just too saturated with so many distributors already. That said, I don’t think that I know any Amway distributors. I knew some about twenty-five years ago, but I do not know where they are. It seems like the company is still going strong. Is most of their business in Europe and Asia now?
From what I read online, Amway still does about $3 billion in the US alone and another $5 billion or so overseas. I wouldn’t say the American market is too saturated. I used to be a rep myself, but haven’t been approached by anyone in Amway for more than five years now. The company’s biggest growth is still overseas. As far as success stories, most people I know of that are successful in any company have been with the company at least 10-15 years, if not longer.
I have to agree after all: apparently the American market is not too saturated with Amway products or distributors. Though most of the people I know (my age) have heard of Amway, and we tend to think of it as one of the ultimate MLM businesses (right up there with Mary Kay and Tupperware – another one I haven’t heard from in a long time), I do not know a single distributor. I have not been approached by anyone regarding the products, much less the business opportunity in probably twenty years. Amazing.
I doubt it is saturated. It’s just lost some of its sexiness to lots of people. I haven’t been approached by anyone in Amway for almost ten years now! Crazy.
Am in Australia Chuck but have an American business, Would you like to get started again 🙂
No thank you!
This is very good information that anyone can take as motivation, vision and future security meaning in life.
Yes. Thanks, Pawan. Are you with Amway? If so, how long have you been with them?
