Top 20 Beauty, Makeup, & Cosmetic MLM Companies

I am going to list the top Beauty, Makeup, & Cosmetics MLM Companies starting with #20 and working up to #1. I will give you a brief summary of each company, so you can learn more about it. Keep in mind this list may change from year-to-year, depending on which companies stay in business and which ones close down (and which new ones open up).

# 20: 3000BC

It is interesting how Korin Korman founded the beauty MLM Company, 3000BC. She was attending Wharton School of Business and working on her MBA thesis. Researching early Egyptians, she discovered their use of botanical oils.

Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 3000BC has loyal followers and in 2008, the company added wellness products too.

# 19: Aloette

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Aloette Cosmetics was founded back in 1978.

Aloette Cosmetics is known as a top small MLM Company that continues to please its loyal customer base. It seems that home-based Aloette business owners are extremely satisfied with the compensation plan and customers love the selection of products.

Aloette continues to strive forward and with their length of time in business, they seem to be managed quite well.

With 40 years of experience, Aloette continues to be an industry leader for on-trend color products and skincare innovation by utilizing the latest technology to correct and prevent future signs of aging. Our formulation standards align with our mission to provide beauty solutions that are gentle for you and the environment. Our beauty and skincare products keep skin looking youthful and radiant while remaining 100% cruelty free and free of any gluten, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydroquinone and formaldehyde donors. ~ Aloette website

# 18: Noevir

When I was a young lad, I lived in Japan for some time (Dad was stationed at Yokohama).

One thing I always noticed is how adamant Japanese ladies were about their skin.

In 1978, Hiroshi Okura was in Germany and recognized how the women in the area had radiant skin from herbs of the Black Forest. Knowing of the females back home, Okura along with Dr. Kazushige Suzuki developed the skin care line that is now under Noevir Holdings.

The products have been so successful in Japan that Noevir has spread out internationally. Noevir U.S.A. is headquartered in Irvine, California.

# 17: Natura

Natura is a Brazilian MLM Cosmetics Company that was founded in 1969. Most of the company’s business was done in South America but has, as of late, gained international popularity.

The founder was Antonio Luiz Seabra who started retailing his fabulous cosmetics. But in 1974, he took the company to a direct sales format and it grew quickly.

I believe that this Latin American beauty MLM Company will continue to grow popular in the U.S.

# 16: Verefina

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, Jennifer Lugo founded Verefina in 2011.

Why? Jennifer was concerned about the chemicals she was using on her baby and realized that many humans were using harsh chemicals daily on their skin. She set out to develop all natural skin products that would help people be safe and also realize their dreams.

Verefina continues to grow loyal customers and top quality products.

# 15: Votre Vu

Set to bring the amazing French make up quality to America, two entrepreneurs traveled to Paris and did just that.

In 2008, Votre Vu was founded and many Hollywood personalities immediately grabbed hold of the wonderful products.

While expensive, Votre Vu continues to grow as many people want to have the best.

# 14: Atomy

Atomy is a Korean MLM Company who primarily sells beauty and make up products, but has veered into other areas too.

The company was formed in 2009 and now has offices in the United States.

Many people are quite happy with Atomy claiming their prices are fair and the quality is wonderful. I believe we will continue to witness strong growth of this MLM company.

# 13: NYR Organic

The NYR stands for Neal’s Yard Remedies.

The company was founded in 1981 in London, England and has continued strong growth patterns.

All NYR products are based on an organic approach and from what I hear, NYR Organic customers love the products and representatives love the compensation plan.

Established in 1981, Neal’s Yard Remedies is a modern apothecary, creating award-winning natural and organic health and beauty. From small beginnings in a quiet corner of Covent Garden, we’re now a global leader with a growing presence across five continents – but remain grounded in our belief that outer beauty and inner health should be in perfect balance. ~ NYR Organic website

# 12: Nerium

It all came to be by accident… Nerium Biotechnology Lab scientists discovered that parts of the nerium oleander plant had great benefits to human skin.

In 2011, Jeff Olson, Renee Olson, Amber Olson, and Dennis Windsor founded Nerium International.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Nerium International has continued successful growth patterns and has generated monstrous revenues.

# 11: Jeunesse

In 2009, Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis started Jeunesse in Lake Mary, Florida.

Jeunesse continues to be one of the fastest growing Cosmetic MLM Companies.

A strong member of the DSA, we will continue to watch Jeunesse climb in stature.

# 10: Forever Living Products

Forever Living Products has a long history and started back in 1978 with primarily Aloe based products.

Rex Maughan started Forever Living and it is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The MLM Company has added some great cosmetics and skin care products using bee derived ingredients. People just love them and it brings this company to the #10 spot.

# 9: Nu Skin

Headquartered in Provo, Utah, Nu Skin has grown worldwide, especially in Asia.

The company was founded in 1984 and followed its title by developing skin and personal care products as well as nutritional supplements.

The company has had its share of hurdles, but continues to be a huge force in skin care and beauty.

# 8: Oriflame

The Jochnick brothers founded Oriflame Cosmetics in 1967 in Sweden. The beauty company has spread to all corners of the Earth with superb quality cosmetics.

The Oriflame products hold very good quality. When compared to most companies on this list (other than Avon) their products are at a great price point.

I am watching as this Swedish MLM Company keeps moving higher on this list year-after-year.

We are a community of people, passionate about beauty and fulfilling dreams. Helping people around the world to fulfil their dreams is our mission and purpose. We do it by offering a comprehensive range of beauty products to our customers, with a focus on skin care and wellness, created in Sweden. We also offer a unique business opportunity for people to build their own business as an independent Oriflame Brand Partners, selling our products and recruiting more people to sell. ~ Oriflame website

# 7: Belcorp

This Peruvian MLM Company is gaining ground all throughout the world with their great beauty products.

Belcorp was founded in 1968 by Eduardo Belmont Anderson.

Belcorp has two huge selling beauty brands:

  1. L’bel
  2. and Ésika

# 6: Younique

Younique was founded in 2012 by Derek Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft. The brother and sister headquartered the company in Lehi, Utah.

The idea was to empower women with superior cosmetics and also giving them an opportunity to earn good money.

# 5: Rodan & Fields

Many of remember the infomercials with Katie Rodan and Kathy Fields telling us about the ProActiv solution they invented for clear skin.

While ProActiv was sold to another company, in 2007, these two dermatologists started their own Beauty MLM Company that has had massive growth.

Katie and Kathy continue to develop products for skin care and beauty.

# 4: BeautiControl

Did you know Tupperware has a beauty MLM?

BeautiControl is owned by Tupperware and is based in Carrollton, Texas.

BeautiControl was founded in 1981 and continues to grow popular much like its parent company.

# 3: Mary Kay

Most people are familiar with Mary Kay Cosmetics. I moved the company down a couple of notches because it seems revenues have dropped substantially.

Founded in 1963, I believe we will see Mary Kay make a rebound if they seek to add to their line of products.

chemicals in beauty products

# 2: Arbonne

We had to put Arbonne in the number two position. All I hear is positives about the product line Arbonne has.

Petter Morck founded Arbonne in 1975 in Switzerland but the company has been based in Irvine, California since 1980.

We believe in a holistic approach to beauty, health and wellbeing, focusing on the whole person to help them flourish inside and out.

Our philosophy embraces the connection between a healthier mind, stronger body and more beautiful skin. ~ Arbonne website

# 1: Avon

Avon will never die. As a matter of fact, I believe if we were stranded on a deserted island, an Avon lady would find her way there. Headquartered in New York City, Avon was founded back in 1886.

The company continues to add and subtract from their line and every day, Avon ladies (and men) are making excellent commissions selling Avon products. You can check out the top 20 Avon products of all time, right here.

  1. This has got to be a huge niche. I don’t know even one woman that doesn’t wear makeup or use skin care products. Do you know if many men are involved in this niche? That would be the only drawback I could see. You don’t have much to offer men.

    1. Hey Nick,

That is the good and bad thing about the beauty and makeup niche. It is a huge market for women, but not so much for men. I think men could join a beauty or makeup MLM Company and still do well, but they would be predominantly focused on recruiting and retailing to women. Most guys I know would not work with a MLM Company that ONLY sold beauty and makeup products.

      Chuck
