Top 15 MLM Companies in Nigeria

Today, we are going to look at the top 15 MLM companies in Nigeria, in my opinion.

I know there are some people who are saying, “They have MLM in Nigeria?”

I remember back to when I was first moving to Puerto Rico and there were people who reacted as if I were going to a 3rd world country.

mlm companies in nigeriaYes, you have seen images of starving children in Africa but guess what, there are starving people in the U.S.A.

I could go on and on… And let me tell you that I have many African Facebook friends. They live comfortably. It may not be the type of comfort you call comfort, but they always have a smile and are happy people.

And, please do not assume that everyone in Nigeria is running a scam. Just because there are a few scammers doesn’t mean every Nigerian is a scammer. If it were like that, maybe they should look at all Americans as Charles Manson or Ted Bundy.

Nigerians want to own home based businesses too.  There, now that I said my piece, let’s get to the point of this post.

Top 15 MLM Companies in Nigeria

I came up with this list of the top MLM companies in Nigeria through independent research, sales figures, online reviews, company reputation, age of the company, testimonials and other criteria.  I understand this is list is very subjective, and you may not agree with my rankings.  That is okay.  If you think differently, leave a comment at the end of this post to share your thoughts.

#15 Royal Business Club International

Founded in 2006 by Ricardo S. Castañeda, Royal Business Club International is a Philippine based network marketing company.

Headquartered in Quezon City, Royal Business Club has expanded internationally. Their primary product line is health and wellness along with various beauty products.

#14 GNLD – NeoLife

This MLM health and wellness company was started by Jerry Brassfield back in 1958.

NeoLife has grown to all reaches of the world and Nigeria has a huge stake in GNLD home based businesses.

With a strong approach to disease prevention, GNLD is well accepted all throughout Africa.

#13 Oriflame

The Swedish cosmetics company founded by the Jochnick brothers in 1967 is quite favored in Nigeria.

Like anywhere, Nigerian women want to look their best and Oriflame cosmetics help them do so.

The only reason Oriflame is not higher on this list is because of their higher prices.

#12 Tasly

Tasly is a China based network marketing company that was started in 1994. They primarily sell Chinese herbal medicines.

Many people in Nigeria love Tasly and it seems the company has made an agreement to hook up with U.S. based Herbalife.

We will watch this closely as Herbalife has been facing close scrutiny in China.

#11 Qnet

Vijay Eswaran founded this large MLM company in 1998. The primary headquarters are in Hong Kong, but Qnet has become a huge MLM operation all throughout Europe and into Africa.

Qnet has a huge range of products:

  • Weight loss
  • Nutrition
  • Home care
  • Fashion
  • and more

It is popular in Nigeria because of the product range and the compensation plan that Nigerians love.

#10 Global Wealth Trade

This Canadian MLM company started in 2005 and has picked up huge steam around the world.

They offer high end designer goods and sales are made through your own online store/website.

Many Nigerians find this wonderful because they can sell to people all around the world who can afford this “high ticket” items.

#9 UNO Premier

I found that this MLM company was launched in 2014 in the Philippines by one William Barbo.

The company sells various supplements, coffee, juices and more.

To join, you must purchase a package to earn commissions on other sales.

It seems that UNO is not the manufacturer, they are just resellers.

While I am not personally sold on this MLM company, it seems it has become popular in Nigeria.

#8 Longrich

Longrich is a popular Chinese direct sales company that started back in 1986.

The start found them basing many products off snakes and snake oils.

The company has moved into health, wellness, cosmetics and more.

Longrich is grabbing worldwide attention and I believe that we will see more Longrich action here in the U.S. as our Nigerian friends recruit.

#7 Total Life Changes

Once an auto worker, Jack Fallon started Total Life Changes back in 1999. Wanting to help the health and well being of his friends and family was Jack’s goal.

His goal turned into a huge entrepreneurial dream and Total Life Changes grew worldwide.

The company and opportunity is quite popular in Nigeria.

#6 Tiens-Tianshi

One of the largest Chinese corporations using a direct sales format, Tiens started back in 1997. The company has grown internationally and they sell a huge variety of products with supplements being at the top of the list.

Tiens is extremely popular in Nigeria. The prices are good and the compensation is phenomenal according to Nigerian Tianshi business owners.

#5 Organo Gold

At one time, Organo Gold held the #1 MLM position in Nigeria, but it has slipped as other MLM companies grow internationally.

Bernie Chua started Organo Gold in 2008 with his blends of Ganoderma coffee.

And people all over the world, including Nigeria, love coffee.

Nigeria has many Organo Gold distributors who are doing quite well.

#4 Jeunesse Global

This cosmetics and skin care MLM company started in 2009 by Randy Ray and Wendy Lewis immediately grabbed the attention of Nigerians.

The popularity expanded all throughout Africa as friends and family recruited each other with this great company headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida.

We will watch to see if Jeunesse Global continues to grow in Nigeria.

#3 Alliance In Motion Global

Started in 2005 by Dr. Eduardo Cabantog, Francis Miguel and John Asperin, AIM is based in the Philippines.

The company works directly with Nature’s Way USA to market and sell their high quality supplements.

AIM has huge popularity in Nigeria and I predict will continue to be popular.

#2 Forever Living Products

I like to call this company the Aloe MLM. Forever Living Products was founded back in 1978 in Arizona by Rex Maughan.

Many of the products contain Aloe Vera and some are bee derived.

With great products and a good compensation plan, Forever Living Products takes 2nd place in Nigeria.

#1 Trevo LLC

There are 20 Trevo offices throughout Nigeria.

The MLM company is based in Oklahoma City and was started by Mark Stevens.

What is surprising is Trevo has only 1 product which is extremely popular in Nigeria.

It is a juice that contains 174 nutraceuticals… A blend of nutrients and pharmaceuticals.

Trevo comes in at #1 not just for the high quality product but because of single line matrix comp plan that is loved.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, this is my list of the top 15 MLM companies in Nigeria.

I would love to hear from anyone living in Nigeria. Do you agree with my list?  Why or why not?
