In today’s post, we will examine the top 10 MLM Companies in Tanzania.
Tanzania… Where the giraffes and the elephant play, and maybe a monkey or two. It is a country of much diversity in Eastern Africa and MLM has begun to spring up in Tanzania as a means for people to own a business with little monetary investment and still have the opportunity to grow into a large business creating financial freedom for the person.
About Tanzania
Tanzania is a country that was formed when Tanganyika and Zanzibar both gained independence from the United Kingdom and merged to form Tanzania.
It is a country run on a dominant party constitutional presidential governmental system. The dominant party is the democratic socialist Chama Cha Mapinduzi party. The capital city is Dodoma. The largest city is Dar es Salaam which was at one time the capital. It is a port city and the commercial haven of Tanzania.
The primary language in Tanzania is Swahili, but English is widely spoken because of the United Kingdom’s influence for so many years. Tanzania is both culturally and naturally diverse. Mount Kilamanjaro is in Tanzania and Africa’s largest lake, Lake Victoria lies partly in Tanzania.
A large percentage of Tanzania is protected for conservation. The country has 16 national parks. If you want to see African wildlife, Tanzania should be your travel location.
Rules For Direct Selling In Tanzania
I find very little information on direct selling laws in Tanzania. I did find the following:
Tanzanian regulations allow foreign and domestic private entities to establish and own business enterprises and engage in legal forms of remunerative activity. The Business Registration and Licensing Act establishes licensing regulations for business operations. It provides the right to establish private entities freely, to own property both movable and immovable, and to acquire and dispose of property including interest in business enterprises and intellectual property.
The Act stipulates that no business entity can enter into business activities in Tanzania before obtaining a business license through the Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA). Registration fees and charges for foreign companies are significantly higher than for domestic companies. The government is now implementing the Business Activities Registration Act of 2007, which aims to reduce administrative barriers with one centralized licensing database.
So it seems that owning a home based business in Tanzania is not difficult at all.
