I want to teach you about the importance of meetings, calls and events in your network marketing business. These are some helpful lessons that I have learned during the past 12 years.
I believe that meetings, calls and events are the GLUE that keeps your network marketing organization together. People like to belong to something much bigger than themselves. They like to do things in a group setting and have a sense of belonging, by being part of a team.
In addition, meetings, calls and events help you work smart. You can do training in a group setting, which frees up your time. There is also the excitement that comes with group training and events. The enthusiasm from the group is contagious.
Meetings might include opportunity meetings, in home meetings, one-on-one meetings, training meetings or anything else you can think of. This is when anywhere from three to one hundred or more people get together to share ideas, for fellowship, and for new information. I personally love meetings and always enjoy hanging out with other reps from the same company.
Calls might include one-on-one calls, training calls, leadership calls, and three-way calls. I think it is wise to do a weekly training or leadership call for your team so everyone can plug in, learn new things, share ideas, and get some motivation.
I think events are hands down the most powerful thing you can promote in your business. This might include regional or national events put on by your company. The company convention is without a doubt the most important event you can promote. Anytime you can get your team around THOUSANDS of like-minded people, good things will happen. Their motivation and belief in the business will skyrocket. There are also generic, non-company specific events that are worth attending.
Smart network marketers leverage meetings, calls and events to build their network marketing organization. If no one in the upline is doing these things for the team, they do it for their team. They also attend ALL of the events themselves and promote the events to their team.
Whether you are a brand new network marketer or seasoned field leader, it’s important that you participate in meetings, calls and events. Leverage the group settings to build excitement in your team and to TRAIN your team. It will help you work smart and get better results in your business.
