Scrap Booking Direct Sales

What is scrapbooking direct sales? I would define it as the process of selling scrapbooking items and supplies through the direct sales business model. In the direct sales business model, independent consultants work with a direct sales company. They purchase the products at a wholesale price and then resell them at the suggested retail price. They can also build a sales organization of other independent consultants.

Scrap Booking Companies

The most popular scrap booking company that I can think of is Creative Memories®. This great company sells everything you would ever need to have fun scrap booking. While there might be some other companies around, this is the only scrap booking direct sales business that I know of. However, new companies are launched all the time, so make sure you do a search on the internet to find out all of your available options.

Direct Sales Business Model

I think scrap booking and direct sales go well together. First of all, scrap booking is a social event. In many cases, three to five women will get together and socialize while they scrapbook together. They will talk, drink a glass of wine and just have a good old time. Normally, they will meet a friend’s house and spend a few hours creating scrapbooks, laughing and talking.

Direct sales is often done via the in-home party, where five to ten people get together and another person shares the products and business opportunity of their direct sales company. During the event, the hostess has several of her friends over, and another person demonstrates the products, provides entertainment, and takes orders. At the end of the event, people get their products and the hostess earns free products or a cash bonus based off the total sales for the evening.

As you can see, scrap booking and direct sales were made for each other. If you love scrap booking, and like to sell, you should consider getting involved in scrap booking direct sales. You should partner up with one of the leading scrap booking companies and become an independent consultant. The benefit of doing this is that you can get paid to do something you love. You can supplement your job income. Or you can just earn enough to get free supplies, so you can scrapbook for free. Or if you are really motivated, you could even potentially replace your full-time job income. In either case, it’s a pretty good deal.

Best of all, it’s cheap to join (normally less than a couple hundred bucks). And there’s very little risk. You don’t have to give up your day job or hire any employees. You can build your business at your own pace. And you can earn as much, or as little, as you want.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, scrap booking direct sales is the process of selling scrap booking materials and supplies through the direct sales business model. Many women supplement their income by partnering up with a successful direct sales company that manufacturers scrap booking supplies. Some do so simply to get discounted products, while others earn a part-time or full-time income with their own scrap booking business. What you decide to do is totally up to you!

I have never even thought about scrapbooking in terms of direct sales. It is neat that a company took that area and capitalized off of it. I wonder if it is really a bargain t purchase scrapbooking supplies via this model than it s to just go to a craft store and order the items that way. It would be worth looking into. But I do see the benefit in having everything sort of bundled together for you as opposed to going to the store and trying to piece things together yourself.

I am not into scrap booking myself, but I have seen some of these parties up close, and they are just crazy. A woman that I know hosts scrap booking parties and they are literally all day affairs. They meet in the morning, break for lunch and go home for dinner. Women who attend the parties save their photos for months for these events. I cannot imagine how much money exchanges hands, and my friend will not tell me unless I sign up as a recruit. It sure does look tempting!
