Today, I’m going to share some of my favorite sample MLM Scripts with you.
Using scripts to contact your prospects is a good idea, especially if you are new to the business. Many new reps complain that they don’t know what to say to people. Using a script can help eliminate the stress and make things much easier for the new rep.
Here are some sample MLM Scripts to help you contact people about the products or business opportunity. Feel free to modify any of these scripts as you see fit.

The categories are:

Tips When using MLM Scripts
# 1: Be direct and to the point. Say less to more people. Do not waste people’s time. Keep the conversation short and sweet and on point.
# 2: Focus on the curiosity approach. Don’t tell your prospect all the details. Focus on speaking to their curiosity and then let your third-party tools do the heavy lifting for you.
# 3: Make sure your script aligns with who you are. Whatever script you get, make sure you feel comfortable using it. Make sure it aligns with your personality and values; otherwise it won’t work.
# 4: Do not read the script. Practice and memorize your script so you don’t have to read it when you are talking with someone. You don’t want to sound like an unskilled telemarketer. When you’re talking with your prospect, it should sound natural.

This is really great. I think some people can get really lost and confused about what they are supposed to say in certain situations and these templates are a great starting point. Until you are more comfortable I think it is a good strategy to have some sort of script or at least talking points to help guide you through the process. You don’t want to risk losing out on someone because your words are jumbled and you’re leaving out vital information. A blog post I’ll have to recommend to some people on my team.
Yeah, having a script when you are new is important, but the sooner you can get rid of it and be natural, the better.
You hit a nail on the head there Chuck. A person really doesn’t need to get rid of the script, but at least make it their own. What I mean is to use wording you normally use. Talk as you normally would talk and don’t just read the script.
I love these samples…they are well written. I also need to mention and reiterate that when you ask a question, stop and listen to what the person says. Sure, you want to give the impression you are in a hurry, but not so much that you will not listen to what they have to say.
I also wanted to mention that as a ex telemarketer, asking a person if you caught them at a bad time can be the recipe for negative responses. For many people, any call is a bad time. I rather use, “Can I have a few minutes of your time?” Just a thought… hope it helps.
Your script is just your baseline until you feel comfortable talking yourself.
Some very good ideas in your scripts. I like the way you have looked at a variety of scenarios. Of course, the scripts are open to situational dialogues and not set in stone. We need to be flexible and able to ad lib too. However, the point is to sell the appointment and keeping that goal in mind ensures that you will succeed and take the appointment that one step further.
The script is just a guideline. It’s by no means set in stone.
