My MLM System: The Best and Easiest Network Marketing System to Use

Are you looking for the best and easiest MLM System to use to grow your network marketing business?  If so, I would like to share my own personal MLM System with you, that I use to grow my business.

I wish I could take credit creating this system myself.  While it is my system, I have incorporated things I have learned from many other systems, so my system is by no means unique.  If anything, I consider it a hybrid system.

And whatever you do, don’t let the simplicity of my system fool you.  If you follow these steps and do the activities, your business WILL grow.  It’s inevitable.

STEP # 1: Make a Five Year Commitment to Your Network Marketing Business

This is without a doubt the first and most important step on this list.  Businesses take time to grow.  If you’re going to join a network marketing business just to “dabble” with it or “try it out for 90 days” do yourself a favor and don’t get started in the first place.  Most businesses, in any industry, take a year or more just to get profitable and two or more years just to make a decent income.  If you are looking for a shiny object or are going to be a junkie who switches companies every 90 days, you will fail, and lose money!  To succeed, you need to sell out to your business.  You have to be persistent and give it a chance!  90 days or even one year is not enough time to determine whether or not a business has potential!  Good things take time.  Besides, you wouldn’t start a franchise or traditional business and quit in 90 days, would you?

STEP # 2: Talk to 3 People a Day

The network marketing business is a people business.  Most distributors fail because they don’t talk to enough people!  If you want to succeed in network marketing, you have to talk to people EVERY DAY about your products and business opportunity.  Simply put, you have to work the numbers.

I want to give you an example, just to put things in perspective.  Let’s suppose you made a FIVE year commitment to your network marketing business (staying with the same company). And let’s assume that 10% of the people you talk to either join your business as a distributor or a customer.

  • If you talked to one person a day for five years and got 10% of them into your business as a customer or rep, you would have 182 personally sponsored customers and reps (1 x 365 x 5 x 10%) in just five years.
  • If you talked to two people a day for five years and got 10% of them into your business as a customer or rep, you would have 365 personally sponsored customers and reps (2 x 365 x 5 x 10%) in just five years.
  • If you talked to three people a day for five years and got 10% of them into your business as a customer or rep, you would have 547 personally sponsored customers and reps (3 x 365 x 5 x 10%) in just five years.
  • If you talked to five people a day for five years and got 10% of them into your business as a customer or rep, you would have 912 personally sponsored customers and reps (5 x 365 x 5 x 10%) in just five years.

I hope this shows you the power of being consistent for a period of time. Of course, this is just an example.  Individual results will vary.  What would your business look like with 300 to 900 personally sponsored reps and customers?

STEP # 3: Show the Plan 10 Times or Sponsor Two Business Builders Per Month

Make it a point every month to show ten business presentations or sponsor two serious distributors, whichever comes first.  If you are showing ten presentations every month, you will find some key people to work with.  The key is to do it every single month, no matter what!  As long as you show 10 presentations each month, you are good.  Sometimes you will sponsor less than 2 and sometimes more than 2.  Just keep showing the plan and good things will happen !

STEP # 4: Get and Keep 5 to 10 Good Customers

You want five to ten good customers who order from you every single month.  Not all customers will keep ordering every month, but some will.  Make it a point to keep adding a couple new customers every month.  As long as you can maintain five to ten good customers, that’s enough.

STEP # 5: Read 20 Minutes Per Day

Leaders are readers and readers are leaders.  Make it a point to read 20 minutes every single day.  You feed your body food every day so why not feed your brain?  Read books about a variety of subjects such as sales, leadership, recruiting, marketing, advertising, network marketing, communication, and a variety of other subjects.  Build your own leader’s library.

STEP # 6: Attend ALL Events

Attend all local and national events.  Make it a point to attend one local event every month, one regional event every quarter, and one national event a year.  Most companies offer lots of events.  Talk with your upline or visit your corporate website to find out when they are taking place.  If you don’t have events with your company, then create your own events for your team or attend “non-company specific” events.

STEP # 7: Enroll in Auto University

I highly suggest you STOP listening to the radio in your vehicle.  After all, when was the last time the radio ever helped you make money.  Instead, you want to listen to tapes and CDs on subjects that will teach you new skills and motivate you.  Listen to CDs about sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, network marketing, goal setting, relationships, communication, leadership and countless other subjects.  Most people spend at least an hour a day in their vehicle.  If you listened to an hour of self help instruction every day, think about how much you would learn within a year or two.

STEP # 8: Track Your Progress

If you don’ track your progress, you won’t know where you stand.  Write down how many people you talk to, how many appointments you set, how many presentations you give, how many people you sign up as a distributor or customer, and how many people tell you NO. This lets you learn your conversion rates and shows you if what you are doing is working or isn’t working.  If you don’t track it you will never know.

STEP # 9: Counsel with Your Upline Once a Month

Make it a point to review your progress and goals with your sponsor or upline once a month. Be accountable for your actions.  Explain to them what happened in your business and get their input.  Find someone in your upline who is successful and willing to help you and let them be your mentor.  Humble yourself when you talk to them.  Don’t skew or lie about your numbers.  Be honest and listen to their advice.

STEP # 10 (Optional): Create One Piece of Content Every Day

If you are trying to grow your business online, too, then you can follow this step.  Create one piece of content every day, such as a blog post, video, article, audio recording or whatever else.  Publish this content online and link it to your capture page, website or blog.  Creating content every day helps build momentum in your business.

Final Thoughts

The bottom line is that all businesses need systems to succeed!  In network marketing, you need a simple system that you can follow, and your team can follow.  By all means, use my system or create your own system using my template.  But whatever you do, get a system.

Chuck, it may be a hybrid system, but it is a good one. I am amazed you haven’t made an eBook going further into detail. I believe you could do quite well selling training books and this information would be great to install in one.

I have learned a lot from reading your posts and this one ranks way up there. Many of your posts can be used for both MLM businesses and Traditional businesses. Many are also very helpful in just personal life.

Just a thought, but I think you could make tons off eBooks on these subjects.

Thanks for these pieces of advice.
