Today, we’re going to talk about the top 4 MLM Wine Companies.
There are those moments when relaxing with a glass of fine wine and the sounds of soothing music are like a touch of “Heaven On Earth.” And if you are like me, not just any wine will do.
But, spending outrageous amounts of money for a tantalizing bottle of wine is also not within my makeup.
I have found some tasty wines from small winery businesses when I lived in Missouri, but when shopping in stores, I feel like people are “eye-balling” me because of my studying each bottle.
The elderly woman whispers to the man,
“Look Abe, another wino.”
Saying it loud enough for me to hear. I hate it when judgment fills people’s minds, so I acted like I didn’t hear and picking out the most expensive bottle, I walked up to the couple and asked,
“Do you think my Dad will like this as a gift for his accomplishment of building a business that just reached $1,000,000,000 in revenues?”
While I know I shouldn’t tell falsehoods, the temptation was just too much… And the looks on their face and the elderly couple’s answer was priceless…
“Oh, Abe and I love that wine; yes your Dad will like it…”
as they turn red in the face.
So, buying alcohol can be frustrating at times… Especially wine.
Certain entrepreneurs realized this issue as well as finding the artisan wines that have delectable tastes. Consumers want to purchase these great wines, but they do not want to be forced into searching stores for them.
So, why not offer wine using a MLM or Direct Sales format? An excellent idea!
The Top 4 MLM Wine Companies
I will say that all in all, these companies are all very close in standings. It was a difficult process to rank these companies. But starting with #4 and working up to #1, here are the top 4…
# 4: Traveling Vineyard
This wine MLM Company started in 2001 when the first wine tasting party was held. Since that time, many Wine Guides have come on board.
Traveling Vineyard is headquartered in Ipswich, Massachusetts. They are also a member of the Direct Selling Association.
Traveling Vineyard has a great selection of wines and accessories. And the prices are very reasonable.
Every Wine Guide has an incredible story—what we call a ‘why’ story—about what inspires them to achieve their personal and financial goals with Traveling Vineyard. When I hear all these wonderful stories, it inspires me and reminds me of exactly why Traveling Vineyard is so special. Helping others achieve their dreams is OUR ‘why’.
# 3: Wine Shop At Home
This wine company is located in the Napa Valley of California where many great wines are created. As a matter of fact, that is the specialty of Wine Shop At Home…. Artisan wines.
The company was founded in 1995 by John and Melissa Lynch. In 2002, seeing a high percentage of sales with their handcrafted wines through direct sales, the company went the MLM business format route.
On their website, they offer a cool quiz to determine your Vino Type.
They offer an amazing wine choice and prices seem quite fair.
At Wine Shop At Home, our vision is to provide the best wine lifestyle experience in the world. We envision a world where the enjoyment, education and purchasing of wine is a pursuit and pleasure available to everyone. We aspire to be recognized worldwide as the most innovative, fun and accessible in-home Wine Tasting and buying experience in the marketplace, with a wine career opportunity second to none. In addition, we foster the education, enjoyment and healthy consumption of wine and food.

# 2: Wein International – WIV
Wein was founded in 1675 as a family winery and is now a supplier of wine to a huge part of Europe and Asia. Located in Germany, the independent home-based business owners are known as Wine Ambassadors.
Wein International has even started moving into the United States market.
Our success is based above all on a philosophy and values that are the sharing and the pleasure of wine. The consultant-client relationship is at the heart of our model: creating contact, understanding customer expectations, developing moments of conviviality, discovering and tasting our wines.

# 1: Boisset Collection
From the heart of wine country… Burgundy, France. Started in 1961, Jean-Claude and Claudine Boisset jumped into the wine business. They grew their influence throughout France and nearby countries.
When the Boisset’s son and daughter took over, Jean-Charles began purchasing other wineries.
The Boisset Collection is amazing. Wine from wineries in Burgundy, as well as Canada, California’s Napa Valley and even in England.
I want to get people to dream and associate wine with other things.
Former MLM Wine Companies
Prior to updating this post, we had Direct Cellars in the top spot as the best MLM Wine Company. However, in October 2019 they terminated all of their MLM Reps and stopped using the MLM Business Model. They were in business for about 5-years and grew very quickly.
Final Thoughts
If you have a passion for wine, this may be the best business for you. Any of the above four companies would be a great choice.
