In today’s post, I am going to share the 7 MLM Scrolls. Please keep in mind I created these scrolls myself.
I learned about the “scrolls” concept from Og Mandino’s book, The Greatest Salesman in the World. If you haven’t read that book before, you should. He shared his wisdom on how to be a successful salesperson by studying the scrolls.
I figured network marketers would benefit by having their own MLM Scrolls. I encourage you to print this page and repeat these MLM Scrolls to yourself daily for one month. I think it will help build up your belief in your business and also help you overcome many of the limitations you place on yourself (individual results will vary).
The 7 MLM Scrolls
Here are my 7 MLM Scrolls, one for each day of the week.
Scroll # 1: I Am a Network Marketing Professional
I am a network marketing professional. I realize that my attitude and actions effect EVERYONE in our industry, not just me. Every day, I will treat my business as if I have one million dollars invested in it. I will work on my attitude, skills and mindset every single day. My business will be a top priority for me at all times. I will not make excuses, blame others or place my business on the back burner when life gets busy. I will treat everyone I talk to with respect, even if they aren’t interested in what I am offering them. I will never bad mouth another person or network marketing company to gain new business. I will be a student of my business and invest in my business education. I will set high standards for myself and my team. I will strive to get better every single day.

Scroll # 2: I Will Share My Business & Products Daily
I am in the business of making exposures. If I don’t make exposures, I don’t make money! The more people I approach about the products and business, the more my business will grow. I will make MINIMUM two exposures per day, five days per week. I realize that when my mouth is closed my business is closed. I will develop prospecting and lead generation strategies that work best for me, so I always have new prospects to talk with.

Scroll # 3: I Build People & People Build the Business
I realize that my real product is people. I understand that my products, company and compensation plan are vitally important, but my real product is building up people. Products don’t move people. People move products. If I build up my people, my business will grow. I will spend time helping my team members develop their potential and improve their skills. I will encourage everyone on my team to have their own personal development plan. I will also have my own personal development plan. I realize my business will only grow as much as I do.
Key Takeaway: You must grow yourself to grow your business.
Scroll # 4: The Fortune is in the Follow Up
The fortune is in the follow-up. In most cases, I will need to follow-up with ALL of my prospects at least five to twenty times BEFORE they will make a buying decision. I will never pressure people or use hype, but I will follow-up with everyone UNTIL they buy, die or tell me not contact them again. I will always ask my prospects to buy or join, each time I talk with them.

Scroll # 5: I Work with the Willing
I will work with the willing. I will nurture, coach and support everyone in my organization, but I will spend MOST of my time working with the willing. I will not try to motivate unmotivated people. I will not work harder for someone else than they are willing to work for themselves. I will spend my time where it is deserved. I will help everyone get started in their new business, but I realize each person is their own CEO and is responsible for their own success. I will train everyone, but it is their responsibility to motivate themselves and implement what they learned. I will spend my one-on-one time with people who are actively building a business, while I mentor and support everyone else in a group setting.

Scroll # 6: I Will Lead by Example at All Times
I will lead by example at all times. I will set the pace for my team. I realize that my own personal example is the most important thing I have in my business. I will make new exposures daily and sign up new customers and distributors every single month. I will maintain a high level of integrity at all times. I will do what I say and say what I do. I will never ask my team members to do something I’m not willing to do myself. I will do the things I want my team members to do. I will lead from the front and inspire others by my own personal example.

Scroll # 7: I Will Always Take the Long-Term View
I will always take the long-term view in my business. I will flush my employee mindset and start thinking like a business owner. I realize that ALL businesses require minimum three to five years of consistent, hard work to become successful. Every decision I make in my business will be based upon how it will help me in the long-term, not the short-term. I will not become frustrated after a few months in the business or complain that I’m not making a great income. I will keep my vision and why in front of me at all times.

What to Do with These MLM Scrolls
Read the first scroll every Monday. Read it once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the evening. On Tuesday, do the same thing with the second scroll. Repeat this process each day of the week with a different scroll. Do it for 30-days and watch your business grow (for the lawyers: individual results will vary).
