Example MLM Recruiting System: How to Create Your Own

Today, I’d like to share some helpful insights on how to create your own MLM Recruiting System.

If you want to succeed in network marketing in a big way, you need to learn how to recruit. There is no way around that. More importantly, to become a good recruiter, you need a SYSTEM! The system is the solution.

Selling products is also important, but the big money and leverage comes from building a team. Network marketing is about a lot of people doing a little bit, not one person doing a lot.

There are literally hundreds of ways to effectively recruit new distributors and customers. What works for one person might not work for someone else. Your goal is to come up with something that is simple, easy to follow, duplicatable and works for YOU!!

Components of an MLM Recruiting System

Your MLM recruiting System needs to include the following four components:

  1. Lead Generation Strategy
  2. Lead Capture System
  3. Automated Presentation
  4. Follow Up & Closing

Lead Generation Strategy

You need several simple ways to generate a steady flow of new leads for your business. Ideally, you should have three to five lead generation strategies that give you a constant flow of new prospects to enter your pipeline. Without leads, you are doomed!

Lead Capture System

This is what you use to capture each lead. The easiest thing to do is use a capture page that is linked to your autoresponder. If you are old school, and don’t enjoy technology, you can use a 24/7 recorded Sizzle Call. People could listen to your recorded message and interested prospects could leave a message.

Automated Presentation

You need a recorded presentation that explains your business opportunity; either a video, webinar or conference call, that you can share with your prospects. You should never give your own presentation. You want to be the messenger, not the message. Plus, if you must do each presentation yourself, you are limited to your time and availability.

Follow-Up & Closing

Your MLM Recruiting System needs an AUTOMATED follow-up that stays in touch with your leads for you. This is normally done with an autoresponder. That’s what I use. As you follow-up with prospects, you need to walk them through the entire process, overcome objections, and lead them to a YES or NO decision. A good system will also weed out the non-serious people, which saves you time!

Putting it All Together

There is not a right or wrong way to utilize these four components. Once again, you must figure out what works best for you and your team. In the paragraphs below, I’m going to give you several different example MLM Recruiting Systems. You can use them as is or modify them as needed. If nothing else, they should give you some ideas on how to develop your own system.

Example MLM Recruiting System # 1

The first example MLM Recruiting System is to leverage Facebook. Using this strategy, this is what you could do.

To generate leads, you could:

  1. Post a daily Facebook live
  2. Do curiosity approaches
  3. Private message new friends
  4. Run sponsored ads

Your new leads could be sent to your capture page, so you can collect their name and email. Once they “opt-in” and become a lead, they can be automatically redirected to a video or webinar you have, in order to learn more about your products and business.

After watching the presentation, they would also receive several of your automated email follow-ups via your autoresponder. Ideally, you would stay in touch at least every three days until they buy, die or unsubscribe.

With this type of recruiting system, all you need to do is focus on your marketing, and your system handles the presenting and follow-up for you.

Example MLM Recruiting System # 2

With this system you could use a simple postcard that you mail to people. On your postcard, you have a 24/7 toll-free pre-recorded message that interested people could listen to. It explains your business for you.

If they liked what they heard, at the end of the sizzle call, you could provide a link to your website where they could get additional information. Or, you could also ask them to leave a good mailing address and you could mail them the required information to get started.

After people listened to your recorded call and visited your website, they would receive your information in the mail, plus they would receive your autoresponder messages, because they had to opt-in when they visited your website (after listening to the sizzle call).

With this MLM Recruiting System, you simply place paid ads on Craigslist. You direct people to your capture page. When they visit your capture page, they type in their name and email to get additional information.

At this point, they see your recorded presentation. Even better, because they opted into your autoresponder, they start getting your follow-up emails.

With this Craigslist system, you simply focus on placing more ads and driving more people to your capture pages, while your system does the sifting, sorting and selling for you.

Additional Insights

Don’t confuse your lead generation method with your MLM Recruiting system. There are hundreds of ways to generate leads. What matters most is the system you use to share your business presentation and follow up with your leads. At a bare bones minimum, you need a lead capture system, a recorded presentation, and a good follow-up (ideally with an autoresponder).

My goal is that you will take bits and pieces from each of these example MLM Recruiting Systems and come up with something that works for you.

In conclusion, to succeed in network marketing you need to learn how to recruit. To improve your recruiting skills, you need your own MLM Recruiting System. It does not have to be fancy, or be the same thing your upline uses, but it must be effective, simple and work for you.

I encourage you to brainstorm a few ideas from what you read in this post. Write down the different components you need to create your own system. Figure out what you want to do and put it into action.

As time goes by, and you improve your skills, you can fine tune and improve your MLM Recruiting System. You don’t have to be perfect to start, but you do have to get started if you want to succeed!
