People with network marketing experience are your BEST prospects because they have experience in the industry, believe in the industry, they’ve received some training, and they have network marketer friends.

When it comes to leads, you are the X factor. You can give 100 good leads to a novice network marketer, and they might not sign up anyone, whereas you could give 100 average MLM leads to a pro, and they might sign up 3 or 4 people.
There are two things you must do if you want to succeed with leads. First off, you need a simple and effective way to contact people. Ideally, you must have some sort of script you can follow (without reading it), so you know WHAT to say and HOW to say it.
The second thing you need to succeed is a good follow-up system. Folks are not going to buy or sign up on the initial contact. That never happens. The average prospect needs minimum seven to twenty follow ups before they make a buying decision.
You need an automated follow up system, an autoresponder. That way you can stay in touch frequently and build up the like, know, and trust factor UNTIL the timing becomes right for your prospect.
Expectations About Leads
Most people have unrealistic expectations about MLM Leads. They don’t realize the number of people they must approach to find someone who will be interested. What I Suggest You Do
There are four things that I suggest you do.
# 1: Script & Follow Up System
The first thing you need is a good script that you feel comfortable using. Ask different people in your upline until you find a script you can use. Practice the script a few times until you feel comfortable with it, so you aren’t reading it when you talk with people. After all, you don’t want to sound like a robot.
Next, set up your contact manager and autoresponder. As you generate leads, you must follow up with each lead at least 1-2 times per WEEK until they buy, die, or ask you not to! This is where the magic happens. You can automate this process with a good autoresponder. That’s what I do.
# 2: Approach Your Warm Market
The next thing you must do is approach your warm market. Fight me on it if you want to, but our business is a warm market business (unless you are a lead generation superstar). Make your list of 100-500 names. The real beauty of approaching your warm market is you can practice on these people, to help you develop the right skills and mindset.
# 3: Pick Your Lead Generation Strategies
Eventually, you will go through your warm market. Therefore, you need 2-3 additional lead generation strategies you can use. Don’t try to many strategies at once. Just pick a few strategies that sound appealing to you, learn everything you can about them, and focus on them. Within a few months you can master these strategies and generate a steady flow of fresh leads.
# 4: Taprooting
Another good source of leads is the warm market of the people already in your team. The average person knows 2,000 people by name. If you have 20 people on your team, that means you have access to 40,000 prospects by helping your team contact their warm market. If you want MLM Leads that work, I highly suggest this strategy.
