What is a Forum?
A forum is a website where people can ask questions, share ideas and build an online community. Think of it as a website for a group of like-minded people (NICHE).
The visitors of the website create new content, respond to articles, share pictures and videos, build relationships, share websites, and much more. It’s similar to Facebook, except the members all have similar interests.
How Can Forums Help You Grow Your MLM Business?
An online forum can help you grow your network marketing business if you do it the right way. First off, you do not want to be a spammer. Don’t just join a MLM Forum and immediately start posting your link everywhere, or pitch everyone on your opportunity or products. That’s a quick way to get black listed.
Instead, be a person of VALUE. Position yourself as an expert. Contribute valuable content to the community. Have a catchy signature file with a link to your capture page, but focus on drawing people in, rather than pushing people away.
Leveraging a forum to build your network marketing business is a long-term approach. Simply visit the forum for a few minutes each day, answer a few questions, share thought provoking content, and within a year or two, you will be a trusted, valuable member of the community.
At that point, you will draw people in, make sales, and recruit new reps, without even trying to do so. People will come to you with their questions, visit your website and ask you to sponsor them, because they know, like and trust you.
The Top 3 MLM Forums
Surprisingly, there are not many online MLM Forums online. One of my favorite MLM forums, Better Networker, no longer exists. Another popular forum, MLM.com, recently closed as well.
To the best of my knowledge, there are only three ACTIVE MLM Forums online. Yes, there are make money online and internet marketing forums, but not many MLM Forums. Here are the ones I know of and use myself (or have done so in the past).
# 1: MLM Gateway
This is a community of approximately 250,000 network marketers. You can publish articles, leave comments on other people’s articles, do paid ads, share videos, and much more. You can also send private messages to other members.
What I do on MLM Gateway is utilize their pay per click advertising program and write articles. My articles provide links to my website. I use attraction marketing by positioning myself as a leader (which I am). This draws people to me and leads to plenty of signups and sales, without even asking for them.
They also have a decent affiliate program where you can earn some extra cash. You can learn more about MLM Gateway here.
MLM Gateway offers an opportunity to meet great MLM leads, active in network marketing, thereby obtaining the valuable contact information so essential to this type of business activity. # 2: Warrior Forum
Back in the day, Warrior Forum was quite perhaps the most popular online forum for internet marketers. It has gone DOWNHILL in recent years, but there are still some good people on this forum.
I will be the first to admit that many people on this forum are anti-MLM, but there are a few people like myself on there. They do have a section for network marketing, and that is why I included them on this list.
This is a great forum if you are trying to build an online business, since most of the people at Warrior Forum are internet marketers, including several prominent online marketers. Visit the Warrior Forum here.
The Warrior Forum is a platform that allows internet marketers to promote their latest products. The internet marketers place banner ads on the Warrior Forum for a fee, and in order to purchase a banner to promote your products you have to have access to the War Room. You can also use Warrior Forum for email marketing.

# 3: IBO Tool Box
Also known as IBO Social, this is a community for home business owners in a variety of niches. You can leave comments, write articles, share videos and leverage their paid advertising platform.
I used their services for about 9-months and got a little bit of value from it, but not a lot. I recently closed my account with them and have decided to focus almost exclusively with MLM Gateway.

Going Forward
While more and more people have shifted to YouTube, social media and Mother Google to get answers to their questions, many people still visit MLM forums. I believe it just makes sense to find one or two forums that you like and become an active member in the community.
Put your needs on hold and focus on helping other people solve their problems. Become a trusted member of the forum and people will begin reaching out to you.
You definitely need to take the long-term approach and realize that posting on forums will not build your business immediately, but it will pay off in the long run. It takes some time and patience.
