Top 10 MLM Companies In Singapore

Today, we’re going to talk about the top 10 MLM Companies in Singapore.

Many people in the United States assume Singapore is a part of China… Not true!  Singapore is an island nation just off the coast of Malaysia. It is considered the most technologically proficient country in the Asian zone.

Multilevel marketing has become huge in Singapore. But rules and regulations for network marketing vary by company. As a matter of fact, the term MLM is illegal in Singapore. Representatives have learned to use the term direct selling or network marketing.

Some companies that we would call MLM’s have appealed to the Singapore Direct Selling Association and have been given an okay to operate in the country.

I have decided to research the top MLM companies in Singapore. These are the top 10 starting with #10 and moving to #1.

If you want to know more about each company operating in Singapore, links to the Singapore websites are in the reference area at the end of this post.

Top 10 MLM Companies In Singapore

#10: Melaleuca

Melaleuca is a well known international MLM wellness company. Melaleuca is registered in Singapore and even has a storefront on the island.

Melaleuca was founded in 1985 by Frank Vandersloot and is headquartered in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Melaleuca offers many nutritional and weight loss products as well as house and body care items.  The company has approximately 400 to 500 different products to choose from.

It seems that Melaleuca has been doing good business in the country and will continue to do so.

#9: WorldVentures

Wayne Nugent founded WorldVentures in 2005. Since travel is an important part of many people’s lives, the travel MLM became a huge hit in Singapore.

Since Singapore is a major travel destination, WorldVentures was accepted on the Asian island. There is even a WorldVentures travel outlet located in the heart of Singapore.

#8: Coslab

Started in 1985, Coslab is a high quality beauty and body slimming spa. The direct sales company also has various products that are sold directly to consumers. Coslab has several outlets around Singapore and is highly favored in the country.

#7: Nikken

A Japanese direct sales company founded in 1975 by Isamu Masuda, Nikken is best known for the unique magnetic wellness devices they manufacture and sell.

While I did not find a Singapore website for Nikken, I do see they have a storefront in Singapore where people can purchase the cool wellness products they make.

#6: Forever Living Products

In 1978, Rex Maughan founded Forever Living Products in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Aloe Vera and Bee Pollen products the company offered quickly became a hit worldwide.

Forever Living is quite popular in Singapore. The company underwent serious scrutiny upon entering the international market of Singapore, but because of the great acceptance, the government also gave Forever Living reign to operate in the country.

#5: Herbalife

Here is another MLM, hmmmm, excuse me… Network Marketing company who has faced heavy scrutiny in Singapore.

The company has been fined and even shut down for a short time, but because the products are loved so much in Singapore, Herbalife continues to sell their weight loss and wellness products in the country.

Herbalife was founded in 1980 by the late Mark Hughes. Herbalife headquarters are in Los Angeles, California.

USANA was founded in the early 1990’s by a microbiologist named Myron Wentz. The company manufactures and sells through a network of independent representatives dietary and weight loss supplements.

One of the larger MLM companies in the world, USANA was gladly accepted in Singapore. While the USANA headquarters are in West Valley City, Utah, the company does also have offices in Singapore, as well as many other countries.

#3: NuSkin

NuSkin was founded back in 1984 in Provo, Utah. In 1991, the company entered the Asian market and has been greatly accepted.

While they have had to battle accusations of being a pyramid scheme, NuSkin has faced the roadblocks and overcame them.

NuSkin manufactures and sells a long line of personal care as well as dietary products. They are well known for their high end skin care products.

It seems that many Singaporians have been able to magnify their incomes by starting NuSkin businesses.

#2: Tupperware

Don’t all people just love the magnificent food storage containers that carry the name Tupperware?

Well, many people in Singapore do!

Not only can they store their food, they can also make an extra income doing so.

Tupperware was founded in 1948 by Earl Tupper.

Tupperware holds the 2nd place by a hair. The company came quite close to the #1 spot.

#1: Amway

One of the largest MLM companies in the United States, Amway is also revered in Asia… especially Singapore.

With a well-rounded product line, the people in Singapore just flock to use the products as well as making money selling them. There is even an Amway store in Singapore.

Amway takes #1 in this round. Will we see a different company take over the position in the next list? It is somewhat doubtful. Amway seems to have outstanding brand awareness in Singapore and I do predict the company will hold the top spot in Singapore for quite some time.
