In my opinion, these are the best of the best. If you live in Japan and are thinking about getting involved with network marketing, you definitely want to research each of these companies.

To be honest, this list is just my opinion. I have done research, talked with other network marketers and also looked at market share and company reputation when compiling this list. If your opinion is different than mine, we can agree to disagree.

Top 10 MLM Companies in Japan

Let’s start with # 10 and work our way down to # 1.

# 10: Amway

What list would be complete without Amway? Founded in 1959, Amway is the big dog in the MLM Industry, doing more than 8 BILLION per year in sales. They have a strong presence in Japan with many top leaders.

Our vision is quite simple. We work each and every day to help people live better lives. We achieve our vision by helping people everywhere discover their potential and achieve their goals by offering better brands and opportunities for the future, and by sharing generously with the global community.

# 9: ARIIX

ARIIX has been gaining momentum in the network marketing industry during the past few years, mostly because of sound company management and a great distributor force. They do more than $200 million in sales each year and they specialize in health, wellness, personal care and weight loss products. They have global offices in several different countries, including Japan.

What is most exciting for me has always been helping people realize that they can achieve their dreams of a successful future in network marketing, with only the sky serving as a limit. Seeing the positive changes that come when they realize their own power and potential—that’s what I call fun.

# 5: Shaklee

Ever heard of Shaklee before? Yeah, I bet you have. They are one of the oldest MLM Companies still in business. Best known for their high quality health and wellness products at fair prices, Shaklee has a strong presence in Japan.

Twelve years ago I was skeptical about how any supplement could benefit me as I thought I had tried them all and felt no difference. So after hearing so many great reports from others and seeing the scientific evidence in the land mark study I decided to give them a try. Why not. 100% money back guarantee. Boy was I surprised after just six days. No longer do I see these as a luxury but instead as a necessity. I feel better now that I did way back when. 65 this year and on zero medications . This is my plan on preventing so many old age ailments. Staying healthy as long as I can

  1. Japan has done very well economically for its modest population of only 126 million people. They deserve a lot of respect as a country.

    1. Amway is definitely the big dog in our industry. And love them or hate them, everyone in our industry should be thankful for what they did to help legitimize the industry.

  6. I like ,Amway as a great mlm company in Japan. they seem like the big dog in the MLM Industry, doing more than 8 BILLION per year in sales. They have a strong presence in Japan too.

  7. This information is very valuable for everyone because you always want to work with the oldest company in the market, the one that offers the best benefits for people, number one.

    1. Established, older, proven companies are good, even if they are saturated in the marketplace. I am personally a fan of younger MLM Companies, the ones that are at least three to five years old, but they are much riskier than established MLM Companies.

  8. I thougth USANA is only popular in Philippines and US. It never occured to me that it’s also popular in Japan too.

  9. Wow, I dont even know most of this companies. Nice list and I love how you said these are your opinion. Thanks for sharing

  10. I had no idea about those marketing companies but I can see why they are famous. I’ve considered living in Japan and is good to know about these companies and what they do.

    1. Yes, there are a lot of network marketing companies in Japan. The Japanese market is very favorable towards our industry. Other than the USA, it might be the one country with the most amount of MLM Reps.

  11. This is not surprising since everything is digital to be honest. Marketing regardless of area is the same. MLM though is relatively a new digital concept. Regardless it is here so may as well use it.

    1. MLM is a relationship business. It can be done online, but to have a lasting, long-term business, you need to focus on relationships. You can’t do that online. This is why we are an event driven business. Attend every event yourself and promote events to your team. The more people you have attending events, the stronger your business will be.

  12. L. Guru Moorthy

I am a direct selling Agent in South India, have joined recently a month back in Atomy, and am sponsored and introduced by Mr. Baleshwar Yadav. Hoping that it’s a good company.

  13. I’ve used Atomy products, and I can say they’re of really good quality. I’m not even aware that they are an MLM company until now. Quite surprising news really.

  14. My DIL is moving to Japan with my Marine son for the next two years and is looking for a way to make money in a country she is not familiar. Do you have any suggestions? She currently is a Pure Romance Consultant so she understands how MLMs work.

    Thank you

    1. Does Pure Romance do business in Japan? If not, I would find a company with a local headquarters in Japan that does business internationally.

Japan is a big country with lots of MLM Opportunities. If you go with a Japanese based MLM Company, make sure it does business worldwide. Otherwise, when your daughter in law moves back to the USA, she will no longer have a business.
