My MLM Business Strategy for 2019

Today, I want to take a few moments and share my MLM Business Strategy for 2019. Before I cover my business strategy in detail, I’ll take a brief moment and share my goals first.

My Business Goals

Here are my goals for 2019 for my network marketing business.

  1. Personally sponsor 120 people
  2. Reach the rank of DOUBLE DIAMOND in my business
  3. Generate 10,000 leads for my business
  4. Add 4,000 new team members

At the time of writing this article, it is December 5, 2018. My team currently has about 2,600 affiliates and customers in it. I’ve been with my company since December 2016.

My MLM Business Strategy for 2019

Let me start out by telling you that I am a former Army officer. I spent a lot of time in the military planning missions. This experience has helped me immensely in the MLM Industry.

While I am good at the tactical work of my business, I really enjoy the goal setting, planning and strategy development. I am a big picture kind of guy and I rarely get hung up in the details.

I set yearly, monthly, weekly and daily goals. I have a daily checklist of items I must do each day. And, I am a task master and work very efficiently. That being said, here is what I do each day.

The Breakdown

Herculist is a safelist that I use online. I am a Gold Member (about $50 per year). With this membership level, I can send an email to 80,000 people per day, every day. This takes me about two minutes to do each day.

Guaranteed Solo Mails

Like Herculilst, Guaranteed Solo Mail is a safelist that lets me send out a solo ad and credit mailer every 4th day. I believe I paid about $97 for a lifetime membership with this site. I also use several of their paid advertising options. This takes me about 5-minutes every fourth day.

Bing Ads

Bing PPC ads is an ad network, similar to Google Adwords. They work in conjunction with Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Bing. I login once per day to check my ad stats, create new ads, add new keywords, etc. This takes me about 10-minutes per day to do.

Mail Postcards

I send out 10 pieces of direct mail every day, Monday through Friday. This includes a combination of postcards, booklets and flyers.

Update Twitter

I login to Twitter every day, Monday through Friday. Each day, I follow 50 new people, send out a few Tweets and a few direct messages. This takes me about 15-minutes per day.

I love Linkedin. I publish one new article per week on Linkedin. I also send 20-30 connection requests every day. I also like to share articles, blog posts, photos and other information on Linkedin every day. I probably spend about 20-minutes on the website each day.

Check My Email

I’m on email much more than I like. I probably receive 300-500 emails daily and send out at least 150 per day. I answer questions, email new prospects, talk with my team, etc. Estimated time is 2-hours per day on email.

Email My Team

I email my entire MLM Team every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I share corporate announcements, provide recognition, share training tips, and let people know about upcoming events. This takes me about an hour per week.

Weekly Webinar

Every Tuesday night at 9pm EST, I hold a training webinar for my MLM Team. The webinar takes about an hour and I spend about 4 to 8 hours preparing for it.

Update Facebook

I update Facebook every single day. I have a group for my team and one for my Mastermind Team. I don’t post much personal stuff on Facebook. I just use it to stay in touch with my prospects and team.

Email My Prospect List

I send out a helpful training email to my prospects three times per week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This information is designed to get my prospect to know, like and trust me and want to work with me.

Update Existing Blog Posts

Each week, I strive to edit and rewrite three old blog posts on my blog. This takes me about 90-minutes to do.

Publish New Blog Posts

While most of my writing for my blog is now outsourced, I make sure my blog gets updated three times per week, which gives me about 12 new blog posts each month.

Handwritten Notes

I make it a point to send at least two handwritten notes per day, 7-days per week. I write to friends, family, prospects and team members. This “personal touch” is one of my best marketing activities. Forum

I have an account at the forums. The forum is very quiet, but I am an active contributor. I try to post something, or respond to someone else’s post two to three times per week.

Warrior Forum

I’m an active contributor at the Warrior Forum. I try to leave 3-5 forum comments each week. I also write about topics that interest me.

My goal is to publish three new YouTube videos every week. I create videos about network marketing and my business opportunity and link back to my capture page. This takes me about an hour per week.

To date, I’ve made about 800 podcasts. I strive to publish 3 new podcasts each week. This gives me added exposure to my blog and business opportunity.

MLM Gateway

I aim to publish one new article on MLM Gateway every week. I also utilize their pay per click advertising platform to promote my business opportunity.

Visit IBO Tool Box

I have an account with IBO Tool Box. This is similar to a social media website for home business owners. I aim to publish one new press release per week, update my wall, send friend requests and share my content. I also run ads on their website. This takes me about 5 to 10-minutes per day.

Post Slides on Slideshare

I love Slideshare. This is a website that is connected with Linkedin. It allows you to upload new PowerPoint presentations whenever you want. I use this strategy to build new links to my blog and get added exposure to my business. I try to upload new slides three times per week.

Read & Personal Development

I make it a point to read a business or self-help book for 20 to 30-minutes every single day. I aim to do this 7-days per week.

I don’t exercise as much as I should, but I strive to exercise for 30-minutes per day three to four days per week. I normally go for a walk or do an exercise routine from Beach Body, or an app on my cell phone.

The Bottom Line

The bottom line is that you need a MLM Business Strategy that matches your available time and your business goals.  You don’t need to do exactly what I do, but you need to do something that works for you. My challenge to you is to come up with your own MLM Business Strategy BEFORE January 1st and have the discipline to follow it every day for a year.

  1. Hi Chuck, yes you really are setting the standard for the team, thank you for all that you do and for all the help you have given me.

I am so glad to have a person like you as the leader of our team!

I have struggled for many years, without any guidance it has become a lot of hit and miss!

I am aiming high for 2019, but I will not get there without guidance! I have not reached my goal for 2018,and as such am wondering what I do wrong.

I am doing 30 minutes minimum personal development each day 6 days a week, but it is not in learning any skills, but just trying to remain positive and confident!

I know you are there to help both me and many others, and I have asked you and been given a great deal of help and advice, and for that I am very grateful.

I will create my business goals for 2019 and they will be on paper!

I look forward to working with you and the other team leaders thru 2019 and beyond!

Have a wonderful Christmas and look forward to starting the new year, full of confidence we will be able to progress and grow in the new year ahead!

    • John,

I’m glad to have you on the team. Make sure you spend some time and fine tune your strategy for 2019. Set a few goals, then do your backwards planning and come up with a game-plan that will tell you what you need to do EACH day to move your business forward. Keep it to 3-5 tasks per day. Make sure they are income producing activities.

At the end of each month, evaluate your progress and determine what went right, what went wrong, and what you need to improve on in the upcoming month. Do that every month for 2019 and there is no doubt in my mind you will make HUGE strides in your business.

  2. You had mentioned attending a network marketing event each week. Are there that many events going on in your area? When you speak of events, what exactly are you talking about? Would that include trade shows, flea markets, etc….? For many people who live in rural areas, that may be a difficult thing to do. What would you suggest for people in those situations in finding ways to meet new people?

As a person who receives your training emails, I must say they are a great way to keep in touch with people. It helps people learn, and it also shows that you do care about them and where they are headed in life. When it comes time that one of these people are looking to join a system, yours will be their first thought.

    • I would consider a networking event as any type of event in your local area where groups of people who might be interested in your offer meet up.

      • I just ran across your reply Chuck; thank you. Yes, there are always some type of event where you can meet people who may be interested in the products or opportunity. It could be flea markets, trade shows, or anything of that nature if I understand you correctly.

Just out of curiosity, how are you coming with these goals for 2015? If I read your blog correctly, I believe you are probably ahead of pace. This is the first week of March, and from what I have seen, you have been doing a lot. The MLM Facebook page is a great indication of that.

Thanks for all you do Chuck. You are helping many of us understand network marketing much better.

        • Thanks for the kind words. I base my goals on the previous year’s results, what I’ve learned, and what I think I can accomplish if I really put myself out there.

          • That is the best way to set goals. Look at previous accomplishments, and your education, and judge accordingly. For people just starting and have no base to set there goals off of, I would suggest researching a similar system and basing your goals from that. One thing about goals is, if part way through them you see you are under the numbers, or way over the numbers, it is quite easy just to reset your goals.

I wish you the best my friend with all your goals for 2015.

    • Thank you very much Mr Chuck,I have done only 13 days in the business and I was able to sign one person,I work only partime but i i will work harder,my aim is to get 3 more down line at before theme them at end of this month.

  3. Your strategy is a great one for reaching new heights in 2015. You broke it down to 2 hours each day in active work and I think that is a small price to pay in order to have a sturdy business. I really like that you broke down the tasks to make things seem much more attainable. I mean if you cannot find the time to do these tasks them MLM probably isn’t the way to go.

    • I think 2 hours a day is a pretty small price to pay to achieve success.

  4. This sounds like a great strategy and it is bound to help you make good money.

In what traditional business can a person work just 2 hours per day and accomplish what you have put down in writing here? It seems to me that if a person can find an MLM that they feel good about, and they follow your design to invest 2 hours of each day, only good things will follow.

It always helps to break your days into simple tasks as you have here. By following a blueprint, a person can go a long way towards success,

    • Yes, you definitely need a blueprint and a little bit of discipline.
