Today, I want to take a few moments and share my MLM Business Strategy for 2019. The purpose of me sharing this with you is to give you an example MLM Business Strategy so you can come up with your own.
Before I cover my business strategy in detail, I’ll take a brief moment and share my goals first.
My Business Goals
Here are my 2019 goals for for my network marketing business. I joined a new network marketing company on May 7, 2019, so these goals are only for 7-months of the year.
- Personally sponsor 2,000 people
- Reach the rank of DIAMOND in my business
- Go from zero to 100,000 team members
- Earn $150,000+
At the time of updating this article, it is September 4, 2019. My team currently has about 22,000 affiliates and customers in it. I’ve been with my company since May 7, 2019.
My MLM Business Strategy for 2019
Let me start out by telling you that I am a former Army officer. I spent a lot of time in the military planning missions. This experience has helped me immensely in the MLM Industry.
While I am good at the tactical work of my business, I really enjoy the goal setting, planning and strategic work. I am a big picture kind of guy and I rarely get hung up in the details.
I set yearly, monthly, weekly and daily goals for my business. I have a daily checklist of items I must do each day. And, I am a task master and work very efficiently. That being said, here is what I do each day.
My Daily Routine
_____ Herculist (Send out daily email blast)
_____ Monitor Bing PPC Ads (check stats and look for areas to improve daily)
_____ Mail 5-10 handwritten postcards (daily)
_____ Linkedin (connect with 10 new people daily and share content)
_____ Check Email (reply to questions daily)
_____ Email My Personally Sponsored People (every Thursday)
_____ Update Team Facebook Groups daily
_____ Purchase a Solo Ad (3x week)
_____ Email My Prospect List (send out a helpful training email, 3x per week)
_____ Revise a Post on My Blog (5x per week)
_____ Publish New Blog Post (3x per week)
_____ Visit WarriorForum.com and leave a comments (2x week)
_____ Publish new YouTube video (1x week)
_____ Publish new podcast (1x week)
_____ Facebook Live for Team Training (daily)
_____ Publish article at MLM Gateway and check advertising stats (1x week)
_____ Upload slides to SlideShare (1x week)
_____ Talk on Phone with Prospects (daily)
_____ Mastermind and Coaching with Leaders (daily)
_____ Read for 20-minutes
*** I do other random things from time to time, but these are my core activities.
Herculist is a safelist that I use online. I am a lifetime Gold Member (about $50 per year). With this membership level, I can send an email to 80,000+ people per day, every day. This takes me about two minutes to do each day. I also purchase additional advertising options on the site.
Bing PPC ads is an ad network, similar to Google Adwords. They work in conjunction with Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Bing. I login once per day to check my ad stats, create new ads, add new keywords, etc. This takes me about 10-minutes per day to do.
I send out 5-10 pieces of direct mail every day, Monday through Friday. This includes a combination of postcards, booklets and flyers.
I love Linkedin. I spend about 20-minutes per day on the website. I share articles and content from my blog and I aim to connect with at least 10 new people per day on Linkedin.
Check My Email
I’m on email much more than I like. I probably receive 300-500 emails daily and send out at least 200 per day. I answer questions, email new prospects, talk with my team, etc. Estimated time is 2-hours per day on email.
Email My Personally Sponsored People
I have a list of everyone I have sponsored into my business and I send them a weekly email every Thursday with training, udpates and good to know information.
I update Facebook every single day. I have a group for my team and one for my Mastermind Team. I don’t post much personal stuff on Facebook. I just use it to stay in touch with my prospects and team.
Purchase Solo Ads
I purchase solo ads several times per week. This is how I generate most of my leads on complete autopilot. My # 1 goal is to keep my prospect pipeline full. I spend several thousand dollars per month on ads.
Email My Prospect List
I send out a helpful training email to my prospects three times per week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This information is designed to get my prospect to know, like and trust me and want to work with me.
Update Existing Blog Posts
Each week, I strive to edit and rewrite five old blog posts on my blog. This takes me about 90-minutes to do.
Publish New Blog Posts
My goal is to publish 3 to 5 new articles on my blog every single week. This keeps readers coming back for more.
I’m an active contributor at the Warrior Forum. I try to leave 3-5 forum comments each week. I also write about topics that interest me.
I strive to publish one new video per week. This doesn’t always happen, but I do my best to keep on schedule.
To date, I’ve made about 750 podcasts. I strive to publish 1 new podcast each week. This gives me added exposure to my blog and business opportunity.
Every day I do a 15 to 30 minute Facebook Live training for my team on Facebook.
Post Slides on Slideshare
I love Slideshare. This is a website that is connected with Linkedin. It allows you to upload new PowerPoint presentations whenever you want. I use this strategy to build new links to my blog and get added exposure to my business. I try to upload new slides once per week.
Talk on the Phone with Prospects
Because I do a lot of marketing and paid advertising, my phone rings 24/7. I’m constantly answering questions and signing up people through the phone. I’m in the process of automating this and having someone else take my calls for me.
Mastermind & Coaching with Leaders
I talk with my most serious leaders daily and I talk with my personal mentors at least one time per week. I’m always looking for ideas to take my business to the next level, and recognize and encourage my serious people on my team.
Read & Personal Development
I make it a point to read a business or self-help book for 20 to 30-minutes every single day. I aim to do this 7-days per week.
I strive to try new random marketing things to see if they will work. Most of the new things I try, I fail with. That’s okay though. I keep learning and keep improving.
The Bottom Line
The bottom line is that you need a MLM Business Strategy that matches your available time and your business goals. You don’t need to do exactly what I do, nor should you, but you need to do something that works for you. My challenge to you is to come up with your own MLM Business Strategy BEFORE January 1st and have the discipline to follow it every day for a year.
