Mike Dillard’s Building on a Budget Review

What is Building on a Budget?  This is a training course for network marketers.  It’s designed to teach people how to promote their network marketing business online, even on a limited budget.  It explains some practical marketing strategies that anyone can follow to get more exposure for their network marketing business (or website), even if they don’t have much of an advertising budget.

I purchased this training course several years ago and have read it countless times.  When I first got started with my online marketing efforts, I didn’t have much money to spend on advertising. And I really didn’t know what I was doing either.  This was one of the first training courses I bought.  What I found most helpful about the course was that it gave me specific things I could do to get more traffic, more conversions and more sales.

Most other training courses focus on theory.  The Building on a Budget Course was the meat and potatoes.  Mike is one of those guys who has been there and done that.  He speaks from real world experience and he KNOWS what he is talking about.  By the time you finish reading the course you will have some simple and proven marketing strategies you can follow to grow your network marketing business online.

No, it’s not magic dust.  You can’t read it once, file it away, do nothing and expect your business to grow.  But, if you take what you learn and apply it in your business, I feel very confident that you will get better results than you are getting right now.

The course was put together by Mike Dillard, a legend in the home based business industry. This guy has been my mentor for more than five years now and his training materials have transformed my business in a good way.  He is the creator of Magnetic Sponsoring, a company that produces numerous training courses for network marketing professionals and people in the home business industry.

Without a doubt, Mike Dillard’s training courses are the best network marketing training courses I have ever bought.  I’ve applied what I learned in his materials and built a very successful business of my own.  And if it wasn’t for this course, I wouldn’t have this blog! So, I am eternally grateful.

The course provides FIVE marketing strategies you can follow, with a budget of less than $500.

Here’s a short list of some of the things you will learn in Building on a Budget:

  • Why you never need to waste your money buying leads
  • Why expensive ads are a big waste of time
  • What you can do to get the best return on your time investment
  • What advertising to avoid
  • The SINGLE most important aspect of your marketing campaign
  • How to make money even when people don’t join your business
  • How to create multiple streams of income
  • How to generate leads without creating your own website
  • Which people to focus your advertising on
  • 25 free ways to send a boat load of people to your website
  • 10 Secrets of Successful Bloggers

  1. Building on a Budget strikes me as a training course that can benefit new and experienced online network marketers, but particularly those who are new to MLM. Those who have already been online for a while have probably (hopefully) established themselves enough to not have to be so conscious of their budgets. New marketers, on the other hand, do need to be fully aware of how much they are spending, where they are spending it, and how effective the spending is in terms of generating traffic, leads, and sales. Dillard’s program does just that.

  2. I’m interested in what Mike Dillard has to say about budgets and what kinds of advertising to avoid. There’s often the misconception that more is always better and any exposure is good exposure. When you’re on a budget like most beginning MLM folks, it would be really helpful to know what isn’t worth the money.

  3. This is excellent. Everyone should have a budget. When you are just starting out in your MLM, your blog, or whatever you have chosen to begin as an alternative income stream, money is usually tight. It is so intimidating to consider all of the different forms of advertising that can just suck up your money. It can seem like you need to spend more money when the money is the tightest. It might take some time to figure out what works best for your target market, but time is money. Per your review, it seems like this book has a lot of great advice in it, and may be worth investment. I will have to look into it.

  4. Staying on budget is one of the hardest parts of business operations but it is also one of the most crucial. It is good to know there are resources out there that help people learn how to budget and stay to the budget when it comes to their business.

  5. I am really interested in learning about creating multiple streams of income. I have a couple of different streams now, but I would like to hear what Dillard has to offer on the matter. Additionally, I like that this comes with an audio recording because I learn best when I am able to combine what I hear and read into one. And for such a reasonable price, I think this is worth the investment.

      1. I have been adding streams of income too. Even if they aren’t a lot, at the end of the month they can all add up to a nice income. The key is properly managing all the different streams, and still make time for family and other enjoyable things.

It all comes down to time management.

This course by Mike sounds like a good deal. I will consider purchasing it. Thank you for telling us more about it, because I probably would never had considered it without first hand knowledge like you are providing.
