Today, I want to do a post about how to sponsor four people a month into your MLM Business. I believe that four new people a month, each and every month is a great goal to strive for. That is simply one person per week. Doing so will create great growth and momentum in your business.
How would you like if everyone on your team sponsored four people per month, every month? It would be exciting, wouldn’t it? Don’t you think your team would grow if everyone did this?
My goal today is to help you succeed. I’m going to share the process I use to do it every month.
This is the step-by-step process I learned through trial and error during the past 12 years. It’s fairly simple to do if you have a big enough desire and the daily discipline to work every day! It won’t be easy, but it’s worth giving it your all.
The first step in the process is to have a game plan to generate leads. That means you have written goals and you have clear action steps that you will follow on a DAILY basis to have people to talk too. Will you talk to strangers? Will you make cold calls? Will you buy leads? Will you do home parties? Simply put, what will your lead generation strategy be? I think the easiest thing to do is to work the phone every single day. Get with your upline mentor and determine which lead generation strategy you will use.
Step # 2: Know Your Numbers
The numbers never lie. Everyone’s numbers are different though. For example, you might have to talk to 60 people to get 30 appointments to do 15 presentations to sponsor 4 people. For new folks, your numbers and conversion rates might be lower, so you will have to talk to more people to personally sponsor four people. And for the seasoned veterans you might have to talk to fewer people than 60 to sponsor 4 new people per month. The bottom line is to know your numbers and look for ways to improve your numbers and conversion rates. And remember, what you lack in conversion rates you can make up for in numbers.
Step # 3: Work the Numbers
The next and most important step in the process is to work the numbers. In the example above you would want to make a point to talk to TWO people every day. If you did that for your 30-day month you would talk to 60 people, get your 30 appointments, do your 15 presentations and sponsor your four folks. Does that make sense? This is where most people mess up. Anyone can make a plan, but it takes a daily discipline to see it through. I always do well when I break my monthly goal into daily action steps.
Step # 4: Track Your Progress
You should use a simple little tracking spreadsheet to track your progress each day. It can be on your computer or on a piece of scrap paper. Track how many folks you talked to, how many appointments you scheduled, how many presentations you gave and how many people you sponsored. This will help you determine your conversion rates and look for areas to improve upon. Once again, your conversion rates will improve as you get more experience.
This formula to sponsor four people a month into your MLM Business might sound really simple. It is. It boils down to having a game plan to generate leads, knowing your numbers, working the numbers, and tracking your results. It will take some daily discipline and hard work, but it is well worth it!
