How to Sponsor 20 New MLM Reps or Distributors Quickly: An 8 Week Action Plan

I hope you are crushing it.

You’ve probably heard the saying that the quickest way to create a surge in your network marketing business is to bring in 20 new recruits as quickly as possible!

I couldn’t agree more.

The reason most people don’t do this is because they don’t know what to do.

They don’t know how to make that happen.

I hope to solve that problem.

What I want to do in today’s post is share a simple action plan ANYONE can follow to sponsor 20 new distributors in the next 8 weeks.

ASSUMPTIONS

  • You will work your business two hours per day for six days a week (take Sunday off)
  • You will refuse to miss a day for whatever reason, even if you are sick, bedridden or unmotivated
  • You will finish the entire eight weeks
  • You have a video or webinar or phone presentation to share with prospects, so you don’t have to do it yourself
  • You will set aside a weekly advertising budget of $25
  • You are willing to pick up the telephone and call people
  • You will TRACK your daily results and never let yourself get behind

*** How you find the people is up to you: you can buy leads and call them, cold call people, meet new people each day, call your warm market, advertise, or any combination of these methods (the choice is yours).

Here is the week-by-week breakdown of what you will do.  Good luck!

Week 1

  1. Contact 3 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 3 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 10 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 2 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 18 new prospects, leave 18 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Week 2

  1. Contact 4 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 4 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 12 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 2 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 24 new prospects, leave 24 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

  2. Leave 6 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 16 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 2 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 36 new prospects, leave 36 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Week 5

  1. Contact 7 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 7 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 18 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 3 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 42 new prospects, leave 42 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Week 6

  1. Contact 8 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 8 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 20 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 3 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 48 new prospects, leave 48 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Week 7

  1. Contact 9 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 9 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 24 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 3 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 54 new prospects, leave 54 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Week 8

  1. Contact 10 new prospects per day
  2. Leave 10 drop cards per day
  3. Follow up with 2 new prospects per day
  4. Ask for 1 referral per day
  5. Attend 1 networking event per week
  6. Place one advertisement per week: Budget of $25

Goal: Get 30 people to watch a presentation or sponsor 3 new people

Activity Summary: Reach out to 60 new prospects, leave 60 drop cards, follow up with 14 people, ask for 6 referrals, attend 1 networking event and place one advertisement.

Summary of 8 Week Activity

  • Contacted 312 prospects
  • Handed out/left 312 drop cards
  • Followed up with 96 prospects
  • Asked for 48 referrals
  • Attended 8 networking events
  • Place 8 ads at $25 each
  • Had 144 prospects watch a complete presentation and/or sponsored 20 new people

    The plan you list here is very doable Chuck.

    And, it is one that can be committed to even for the part time network marketer. I do believe that we have to be totally, 100% committed to doing it.

    It does need to be understood by people that these are just estimates. Some network marketers may get better results and some worse. These are just averages, but unless we actually get out and follow the plan, there is no chance of hitting these figures.
