All businesses have cycles.
There are good months and bad months, even good years and bad years.
It’s simply part of doing business.
Sometimes, businesses even go through slumps.
It can happen to any business owner, regardless of their industry or how long they have been in business.
It could be a seasonal thing, or just something random.
When it comes to your network marketing business, you will definitely experience slumps.
You will have ups and downs.
You will have months with large growth followed by months with very little growth.
You will even have months where your business shrinks in size.
You will go through spells where NO ONE you talk with wants to join your business or become a customer.
You will also have periods of time where you sponsor a HIGH percentage of the people you talk to.
You will have days, sometimes even weeks, where you don’t feel like doing ANYTHING to grow your network marketing business.
It could be from a hectic work schedule, a vacation, being sick, or because your best person quit.
Trust me, I’ve been there.
I know how you feel.
Sometimes it seems like no matter what you do nothing seems to go right.

You might not LIKE the solution I am going to offer you, but I can 100% promise you that if you do this, good things will happen in your business.
The quickest way to get out of a slump is to increase your activity.
In other words, do more money producing activities.
If you’re working in your business 20 to 60 minutes a day and nothing seems to be going right, increase it to three hours per day.
Increased activity will solve just about any problem you might have with your network marketing business, as long as this increased activity is solely focused on money producing activities.
I’ve also learned that if you wait until you FEEL like doing something there is a good chance you will never do it.
Rather than letting your emotions dictate what you do with your network marketing business, let your actions dictate your emotions.
The sooner you get to work and do the things you know you should be doing in your business, the higher the odds you will be motivated and feel better about yourself.
Action must come before motivation.
Taking action actually increases your motivation.
There are very few days I am motivated to do the things I know I should be doing, but I do those things anyway, because I am committed.
And the more things I do to move my business forward, the better I feel about myself and my business.
Is it rocket science? Hell no.
Many of you will ignore this advice because it sounds so simple.
But it does work.
The longer you sit around and dwell and think about something the less likely you will EVER do it.
It’s not until you spring into action that you feel better, get better results and break through the slump that you are going through.
