Herbalife Training: How to Train Your Herbalife Team

Today, I want to teach you how to train your Herbalife team properly.

Whether you have one distributor on your team, or thousands, you need a game plan to train your team so you can grow your business, free up your time, work smart, leverage yourself, and make more money in your business.

Here are some tips I recommend to train your Herbalife team the right way.

# 1 Do an Initial Training with Every New Team Member

As soon as you recruit someone into the business, you need to do an initial training with them.

Teach them how to order, set up their website, get customers and more.

Find out their why and find out their goals.

Show them what needs to be done in the business in order to reach their goals.

This initial training should take one to two hours and should be done within 72 hours of the person joining your Herbalife team.

# 2 Have a Weekly Event

Events are a very important part of creating a strong team culture.

If possible, do a LIVE weekly event, either at a hotel, a conference room, or even someone’s home.

This event could be a weekly business presentation, followed by some weekly training.

This gives your team members a chance to hang out and spend time with each other every week.

Many people look forward to this.

It’s a simple way to create a community and keep people plugged in.

If live events are not possible, consider doing a weekly webinar.

# 3 Create a Team Training Manual

Another simple thing you can do to train your Herbalife team is to create a team training manual.

This can be a 20 to 30 page document that teaches people how to set up their website, take orders, contact people, scripts of what to say, how to follow up with prospects, and more.

Keep a list of your best practices and put them in the team training manual.

Update the manual a few times each year to keep it current and fresh.

Make sure every new team member gets a copy of it.

# 4 Create an Email List

The next thing I suggest you do is create four email lists.

One for your personally sponsored people, one for your down line team members, one for your prospects, and one for your customers.

You should use an auto-responder and pre-write your messages.

Whenever someone joins your team they can automatically receive your messages and training.

Also, whenever you have important information to share with your team, you can do it at the push of a button.

This will free up a lot of your time.

A good auto-responder will cost you $20 to $40 per month and it is money well spent.

Imagine how long it would take you to coach and train 20 people by phone, compared to sending them the same training in an email.

# 5 Do a Weekly Call

Another smart thing to do is do a weekly training call with your Herbalife team.

I suggest you schedule a 60 to 90 minute call on the same day each week, at the same time.

Bring in guest speakers, interview people and provide quality training for your team.

Let your team know about the training ahead of time and make sure they educate their team about it.

Don’t rely on your up line to do this for you.

Be the leader and do it yourself.

I love training in a group setting because its a lot quicker than doing everything one-on-one.

Another simple thing to do is to create your own YouTube Channel with your Herbalife training videos.

You can even keep your channel private so only people on your team know about it.

You could create 20-30 videos about different aspects of building the business and then give your team members access to the videos.

This frees up your time and lets you work smart.

Your team members could watch the videos when it is convenient for them.

# 7 Create a Private Training Website

You could also create your own password protected website with your team Herbalife training.

You could centralize everything in one place, so all of your team members can visit the website and develop new skills.

You could also embed all of your YouTube videos into the site, so everything is centralized.

You could also share your training guide, documents, reports, white papers, tips, etc.

# 8 Record Your Events

Another great thing to do to train your Herbalife team is to record all of your events.

Whenever you do a call or live presentation, record it.

Take this recording and upload it to your website or send it out in an email to everyone who missed it.

This is another great way to work smart.

#9 Do Most of Your Training in a Group Setting

My final Herbalife training tip is to do most of your training in a group setting.

If you train everyone in a one-on-one setting, you will waste lots of time and get burnt out.

I’m not saying you should never meet one-on-one with people, but reserve those occasions for your top performers.

In all other cases, do your training in a group environment.

I suggest you encourage your team to attend local events put on by your up line and the company.

  1. I didn’t even think to do a Youtube channel! I have seen other people do it that do Avon sales and what they do is buy the products they want to sell the most and review them and try them themselves for people to see. Any type of review on Youtube tends to go good and if you build a following it can be another way to earn money.

  2. This is all great advice Chuck. I believe that you don’t just need to put the Herbalife name on it….this advice can, and should be used by all network marketers.

    James mentioned auto responders and he has hit a good point. Auto responders can be used both for prospects and for team members. A great auto responder program such as Aweber is a great investment. You can keep your team members up to date and not spend your time duplicating emails in your email program.

  3. An auto-responder is very nice when you have mass quantities of emails to send, like hundreds of even thousands. They are great tools for sharing information with a large pool of people in a single stroke but most of all auto-responders are good because they can keep your company in regular contact with customers too. If you were a grocer for example, distributing a monthly sales flyer is just one use you could get from this tool.
