Today, I want to educate you about getting MLM leads using video sites.
Video marketing can be a great way to get more MLM leads, if you do it the right way.
It might not work for everyone, but it is a simple and free strategy that anyone can follow if they choose too.
Basically, this is the process of using video marketing to get more MLM leads, build your brand and build your audience, which will in return help you build your network marketing business.
Most people really mess this up.
They take the amateur approach and simply try to pitch people and sell people in their videos.
From my own experience, I can tell you that using that strategy is a waste of time, money and effort.
If you want to be successful using different video sites to get more MLM leads, here are some tips that I suggest:
# 1 Pick your niche wisely
Most people automatically focus on the network marketing niche.
In my own experience, that might not be the best niche to focus on.
It is a huge niche, but it’s also overly competitive.
Also, most video sites HATE network marketers and will ban them rather quickly.
I think it would be much wiser to focus on a niche you are familiar with, such as stay at home moms, people who would use your product line, healthy people, overweight people, etc.
Ultimately, you want a medium sized niche you can dominate.
Remember, it’s better to be a big fish in a small pond than to be a minnow in an ocean.
# 2 Focus on the most popular video sites
There are tons of video sites online.
Not all are created equal.
Some of the most popular ones include:
- Daily Motion
By all means, upload your videos to multiple sites, but focus on the big boys first!
That’s where most of your traffic will come from.
# 3 Provide videos that educate, inspire and train, not sell
Don’t be the sleazy snake oil salesman.
If you act that way, no one will buy from you.
A much better approach is to focus on educating and helping others.
Teach what you know.
Identify problems and then offer a solution.
# 4 Be consistent when posting videos
Make a posting schedule and stick with it.
I would suggest minimum one video a DAY if you are serious.
I can personally make a video in just a few minutes, so it doesn’t have to take that long.
You don’t have to be that committed, but I would say minimum two videos per week, every week, for minimum five years.
If you aren’t willing to be consistent uploading your videos to different video sites, there is no point in even getting started.
# 5 Build your list
You MUST build a list.
That should be your number one priority.
Provide a link in or below every video to your capture page.
Give away something for free to entice people to opt in.
This will be your most valuable business asset.

# 6 Take the long-term view
Rome wasn’t built in a day. Have you heard that before? It’s true.
You need to make a minimum five year commitment to this video marketing strategy, or there is no point in even getting started.
It takes time to build a brand and an audience.
Don’t get frustrated after three to twelve months because you aren’t getting big results.
# 7 Don’t be a perfectionist
Good enough is good enough.
The most important thing in any video is the content, not perfection.
People like to know that you are a real person.
Don’t try to come across as perfect.
Yes, your video should be decent quality, but don’t get bogged down trying to make it perfect.
Get it done and upload it.
Your videos will get better as you get more experience making videos.
# 8 Build the relationship first
Your ultimate goal is to build a list of people who like you, know you and trust you.
If you just try to sell stuff, people will unsubscribe rather quickly (and not watch any more of your videos).
Stay in touch with your audience by email, social media, and videos frequently, at least a few times per week.
Focus on helping them, not selling stuff.
# 9 Automate the Process
You want to automate the process as much as possible.
There is software that will upload your videos to multiple sites.
Just do a quick internet search to learn more.
You can also use sites such as Fiverr to edit your videos, even upload your videos and save you time.
The sooner you start outsourcing and automating things in your business, the quicker your business will grow.
# 10 Promote your videos
Just making good videos is not enough.
You need to become a marketing machine.
Find ways to use social media, email marketing, pay per click and other strategies to get your videos noticed.
For every hour you spend making videos spend at least five hours marketing and promoting your videos on the different video sites.
These are just a few of my best tips on how to get MLM leads using the different video sites.
I can speak from personal experience and tell you that this strategy does work.
I’ve done it myself in several niches with great success.
Here’s one last point.
If you are camera shy, get over it.
No matter how polished or unpolished you are, some folks will like you and some won’t.
Just be you, and you will attract the right people into your life.
