If you are serious about your network marketing business, you need to focus on the big picture.
ALWAYS!
You need to focus on your WHY.
In other words, WHY are you doing what you are doing?
You need to focus on the possibilities the business offers.
You need to keep your goals in front of you at all times.
Let’s be honest with each other.
This business can be an emotional roller coaster.
You will have ups, and downs; many of them!
Sometimes you will have many ups and downs in ONE day.
So will your team members.
When you sign up that new person today, you will be ecstatic.
When they quit tomorrow you will be upset.
In addition, it’s easy to let day to day life beat you down.
Most people in this industry have a spouse, kids and a day job.
Trying to balance all those things and build a part-time network marketing business at the same time can be a big challenge.
Furthermore, it’s easy to get upset when your mom cancels her auto-ship, your best distributor quits (and takes their team with them) and the person you signed up yesterday has already gone into the Witness Protection Program.
Ever dealt with these things before?
If not, don’t worry.
You will at some point.
When your network marketing business isn’t going the way you expect it to, it’s easy to get frustrated and want to throw in the towel and quit.
That’s what most people do.
Trust me, I’ve been there.
I still have days where I question my sanity.
Do you?
Most top earners have been there.
They just don’t normally tell you about it.
Everyone gets frustrated and disappointed at times.
That’s life.
That’s business.
Anytime you deal with other people, there will be issues, heartache and disappointment.
People WILL let you down.
That’s why focusing on the big picture is vital.
You must ALWAYS focus on the big picture with your team.
You need to talk about the big picture all the time.
You need to know each team member’s why.
You need to know each team member’s goals.
You need to talk about the possibilities the business offers.
You need to speak belief into your team members.

You need to lead by example and show your team what is possible.
This will help keep people in the game longer.
Yes, most people will still quit.
And most people who do stick around will do very little.
But even if you can inspire one person to go all in and build it big, it’s still worth talking about the big picture.
Most people are not big picture thinkers.
Most people can’t think past their next pay day with their job.
It’s not their fault.
It’s just what we’ve been programmed to think.
Everyone has been taught to have the employee mindset.
If more people were visionaries and big picture thinkers, we’d have less broke people and more entrepreneurs.
As I mentioned earlier, life is tough. So is the business.
That’s why most people won’t make it.
Take time whenever you can and educate your team about the big picture.
Talk about in on webinars.
Talk about it at live events.
Talk about it on your weekly call.
Share the big picture when you present the business.
Incorporate it into everything you do.
Have other top earners in your upline and cross-line talk to your team about it as well.
This will help keep people motivated.
It will help keep people in the business.
It will help keep your business moving forward.
Do it and you have a chance.
Don’t do it and you will be a statistic.
What are your thoughts?
Do you think it’s important to talk about the big picture in your network marketing business?
Why or why not?

It is easy to get tunnel vision and not look at the big picture. If we keep our minds focused on it, the business will flow much smoother.
Like you did with this post, we need to keep preaching that it is all about the big picture. If we focus on the little things around us all the time, we will fall into a negative state of mind and won’t want to do anything. This works for any and everyone.
Thank you for the reminder Chuck. I need to pull this post up often just to help keep me focused.
Don’t let the details keep you from living the life of your dreams.
Just like as I have listened to one of your mentors…in his podcast training…Dale Calvert…until you know WHY…the other things are not important…
I was just finishing my 20 reasons…thanks for sharing…I really appreciate your guidance…
Glad I could help.
