# 3 Featured Blog Posts

Here are a few trending blog posts that might interest you.

# 4 Book of the Week

My book of the week this week is “Endless Referrals” by Bob Burg.  I really love this book.  As a network marketer you need more referrals.  You also need a plan so you INTENTIONALLY get referrals, rather than leave it to accident.  This book will teach you how to do that.  It will help anyone get more referrals in any business.  Order a copy.  Study it.  And apply what you learn.

# 5 Quote of the Week

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”  Calvin Coolidge

# 6 Three Must Watch Videos

Here are a few YouTube videos I recently watched and thought you might enjoy.

# 7 Featured Training Product

I would like to recommend the Attraction Marketing Formula course again for anyone who wants to learn how to build their business online and create multiple streams of income.  The course is just $27.  It also comes with a free 10-day boot camp.  I have purchased the course myself, read it, and really enjoyed it.  I think it offers a great value.  Read my review about it here.

# 8 Thought for the Week

Be nice to people.  You never really know what someone else is going through.  Be honest, sincere and genuine with everyone you talk to.  Never pressure, chase, bug or annoy people.  Don’t be too quick to judge people either.  Even if someone is rude, or has no desire to partner with you, be a true professional.  Be an ambassador to our industry and always do the right thing.  You can’t go wrong when you do that.

# 9 Today in History

  • September 23, 1642 – First commencement at Harvard College
  • September 23, 1962 – The JETSON’s first appeared on television
  • September 23, 1980 – Bob Marley plays his last concert

# 10 Success Tip

If you want success in our industry, it all boils down to the number of presentations you give every month.  Thinking about your business all the time will not grow your business.  At the end of the day, you need to get eyeballs to a presentation.  If you aren’t showing 10-20 presentations per month, your business isn’t going to grow.  Yes, our industry is also a game of strategy and skill, but if you don’t go through the numbers you will never make it.  Never forget that.

    Hi Chick,

I especially like your ‘success tip’ or tip #10. It applies not only to network marketing but also to any other type of business. Thanks for the practical tip.

I also really like your quote of the week. I’m actually copying it into the Notepad file I put important notes and quotes, as I write this.

I like that you address dealing with a negative spouse or one that is not supportive in the podcast. I thankfully do not have that issue, but I do think more people face that challenge than we realize. People don’t always see our vision or care enough about it to support us as we pursue a dream or goal. However, that does’t mean we have to give up because of their lack of supportive. There are ways to push through it and hopefully continue to have a relationship and a business that are successful.
