Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom: Issue # 45, July 15, 2015
Dear Network Marketer:
Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom. Enjoy the training!
Tips for the Week
# 1 Learn how to get people to contact YOU first. Learn marketing, advertisng and lead generation so you can become the hunted, not the hunter.
# 2 Sponsor 2-5 people every month for three to five years and you will have a huge organization.
# 3 Plan your time. Have a prioritized to do list for your business every single day and make sure that you spend 90% or more of your working hours on one or more of the five money producing activities: prospecting, showing the plan, following up, training your team and getting customers.
# 4 Most people you sponsor (about 80%) will not want your help and they will not do the work. Work with the willing. Don’t spend your time with people who will waste your time.
# 5 Most of your income will be tied to the efforts of just one or two people.
# 6 The best way to retain people is to build depth under them. Give them something to lose. Light a fire in the basement and watch the heat rise.
# 7 Pick a good company. Make a MINIMUM five year commitment to building the business. Work your business minimum one hour per day, at least six days a week and never stop. Do that every day to three to five years and you will have a solid organization.
#8 If you want to make more money, improve your skills. Skills are what separates the top earners from the people who quit or fail. Learn something new every day. Invest in your business education. Read daily. Find a mentor. Once you develop the right skills, the business becomes easy.
# 9 Find 3-5 people in your team who really want to build the business and do what you can to help them make it to the top!
# 10 Sponsor up. Look for quality people with skills, desire, talent, credibility and success. Ideally, you want to look for people who understand commission based pay or have entrepreneurial experience. These will typically be your best prospects.

Book of the Week
This week’s book of the week is “The Purple Cow” by Seth Godin. I really love this book. The whole thesis of the book is that you can transform your business by being remarkable. In other words, be so good at what you do that people naturally talk about you, your products and your service. This is not a network marketing book, but it’s definitely worth the read. Order it on Amazon.
“You can make money or you can make excuses.” Unknown
My Take: I’ve heard this quote so many times now and it is definitely true. Be so busy with your actions that you don’t have time to make excuses.

My suggested product of the week is a day planner. This is a physical day planner that you can hold. I suggest that every network marketer have a day planner so they can plan their work and manage their schedule effectively. Here is one on Amazon that I highly recommend.
