Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom # 40 – June 10, 2015

Dear Network Marketer:

I hope you are happy, healthy and well.  Welcome to this week’s edition of Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom.  Enjoy the training.

# 1 Tip of the Week

This week’s tip of the week is to persevere through the tough times.  Everyone, and I mean everyone, has setbacks, challenges and disappointments.  It is a natural part of life and business.  Few things in life go exactly as planned.  Building a successful business of any kind will take hard work, focus, faith, a little bit of luck, and lots of persistence.

People expect you to quit, especially your friends and family.  Your downline is watching you to see what you do!  If you quit, you give them a way to “justify” them quitting.  Don’t do that!

Stay the course.  That’s what the top leaders do.  Make a commitment to work your business minimum one hour a day, at least six days a week, for at least five to ten years.  Stay with the same company.  Be consistent.  Be persistent.

Amazing things happen when you focus and stay the course.  Almost every business I’ve ever owned took me a good year or two or three to figure things out and build up some momentum.  If I had quit when things weren’t going my way, I never would have achieved success.

If you really, and I mean really want your business to provide you a full-time income, you need to make a commitment to persevere through the thick and thin.  Of course, you still have to do the work!  That’s very important.  But the other part of the success equation is to persevere through thick and thin!

You will never succeed by starting and stopping.  You’ll never succeed if you keep switching companies.  You’ll never build a large, sustainable business in just a few months!  Good things take time and effort.

# 4 Suggested Videos

Here are a few YouTube videos I recently watched and thought you might enjoy.

# 5 Book of the Week

This week’s book of the week is “Rock Your Network Marketing Business” by Sarah Robbins. This is definitely one of my favorite MLM Books of all time.  Sarah has a great way of keeping things simple and telling you what you need to do to be successful.  Prior to joining the industry, Sarah was a teacher.  Those teaching skills shine through in her book.  Read my review of the book.

# 6 Quote of the Week

“Most people don’t give two shakes about your business until they know what it can do for them.” ~ Roanne Bacchus

My Thoughts: At the end of the day people only care about what’s in it for them.  As a sponsor, your job is to put your prospect’s needs first and show them how your products or business can help them solve one or more of their problems.  Only then will they consider joining.

# 7 Product of the Week

This week’s training product is an email swipe file with more than 150 high converting network marketing emails.  If you’re looking to build your business online via email marketing you should check this out.  Learn more.

# 8 Suggested Blog Posts

Here are some trending posts on my blog that I thought you might enjoy.

# 9 In the Spotlight

This week’s featured distributor is Jeff Roberti.  Jeff is a legend in our industry, having earned more than $80 million in commissions during his career.  He is a top earner with Juice Plus.  He is humble, motivated, and he is a tremendous leader and ambassador to the industry.  Check out his website.  Connect with him on Facebook.  Watch his interview with Eric Worre.

# 10 Weekly Challenge

My challenge for you this week is to create a daily mode of operation for your network marketing business.  Take out an index card or a piece of paper and write down the three to five tasks you will do every day to build your business.  Set aside at least one hour a day to build your business and never go to bed at night until you have completed these tasks.  Learn how to create a daily mode of operation.

Final Thoughts

I hope you have a great week.  Thanks for reading this week’s edition of Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom.  If you have questions or need help with anything feel free to give me a call or send me an email.  Thanks.

What an encouraging word. No one is perfect in this industry. No one makes all the right decisions and not one person gets it all right all of the time. But what every person who has achieved success of any level does have in common is a desire to press ahead in the face of obstacles. I think anyone in this industry would be lying if they said they didn’t want to quit at some point down the line, but we didn’t and look where that got us.

Ahh, perseverance through the tough times.

Yes Chuck…it is during the hardest times when we actually learn the most. As someone once said, “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.”

I understand this completely, and it is something I find myself having to face often. It was actually a blessing in reading this today as I have had a couple setbacks too, but I keep fighting through them. Right now, I am wishing for some rain as we are rationing water here in Puerto Rico. When we do have water coming through the pipes, it looks like coca cola, which makes showering quite difficult…but life is wonderful and at least I have an income that is growing daily. Maybe soon I can start a clean water MLM–LOL.

Thank you for this post… I needed it.

Life has tons of ups and downs. Few things ever go exactly as planned. It’s easy to be excited and happy when things are going your way. However, it’s when things get bad that reveal your true character.
