Chuck’s MLM Weekly Wisdom # 38 – May 27, 2015

# 1 Tip of the Week
This week’s tip of the week is “the key to retaining team members is to provide a bigger mission for the team than the acquisition of a check.”
This is a quote from top earners John and Tiffany Malott. My takeaway is that you need to create a team culture in your organization, something that people are proud to be part of. You have to realize that everyone wants to belong to something bigger than themselves and feel like they are an important part of the team. People like to associate with groups of people who have similar goals, desires and interests.
One of the key lessons I learned during my time in Amway was the importance of creating a team culture. Many of the successful top distributors in that company have kept their teams together for 20 to 40 YEARS. They did that by creating a powerful system, culture and environment and helped people grow and gave them a sense of belonging. You should try to do the same thing in your business.

This week’s book of the week is “Making My First Ten Million” by Brian Carruthers. This is a short, but good book designed to use with your prospects. You can read it in about 10 minutes. It’s designed to educate people about the importance of having a leveraged income and it talks about how network marketing is the best way to do that. You can read my review to learn more about it.

The quote of the week this week is “most people in network marketing spend their time looking for leaders rather than becoming the leader they are trying to attract. If they would just become the person, then the leaders would begin to migrate to them.” ~ Steve Fisher
My Take: This is so true. You attract more of what you already are. People join your team because of the value they perceive that you have. Improve your skills, quality, and success and you will attract better quality prospects.

# 10 Weekly Challenge
My challenge for you this week is to talk to three people a day every day for the next 7 days. You can do this face to face, on Facebook, by phone or whatever method works best for you. Invite these three people to take a look at the presentation or your products. Do it daily, every day, and I will be willing to bet you find at least one new customer and one new distributor in the next seven days. Are you up for the challenge?
