I am going to check out the Hero Call by Richard Bliss Brook. It is a great idea, after all, who better to learn from than those who have succeeded?

I also like how you explained the asset value of your business. So many people want it to just start throwing thousands of dollars immediately, but truly, if it is generating $500 extra per month, that is great. I also like how you pointed out the tax advantages with that too. There are huge tax breaks if you handle everything properly. Talk with an accountant and see.

…just wanted to comment that I started listening to Richard Bliss Brook’s Hero call. I don’t have time to finish it now, but will go back to it later today. I think having a series of people give their story for us to hear is so motivating. Real experiences from real people. The ups and the downs. Thanks for the link!

Chuck, I think your #1 point is key. If your customers really like and use the products and you have given them the customer service they expect, then a friendship or at least a professional relationship will result that is created on trust. This is a good basis on which to introduce them to the idea of taking control of their own business. Very few people are going to join your team if they do not trust you.

I have joined companies just for the reason of getting the product at a discount. I would say people who do this may not be the best business builder prospects. What has your experience been with this type of situation, Chuck?

Your #3 point ~ no one has ever presented this benefit to me like this before! Just thinking about that level of interest being accumulated as if I had $100k in my bank account, boosts my confidence!

#6 ~ I remember reading the Og Mandino book and the strong impression it made on me. My mom, an amazing saleswoman, had given it to me when I was still a teenager. I’m glad for the reminder. I want to read it again.

I look forward to taking advantage of reading your other blogs and to listening to (#9) Richard Bliss Brooks’s Hero Calls.

Thanks for making so many helpful and motivating resources easily accessible.

I love the quote of the week. Sometimes we can get to a place where we have been doing something so long that we think we don’t need any more advice or information. Especially if we have been succeeding at what we’ve been doing. But you can always learn something that can help you be a little bit better and improve in some way. I love researching articles and videos and even finding books and seminars that are related to MLM that will help me improve. A few minutes or a few hours- as long as you are doing something each day to help you grow you will get better, learn more, and see more positive results.

    I love this post Chuck!

Time is our most valuable asset. Without the proper use of the time we have, we are spinning our wheels nowhere. It has taken me many years to realize just how important time is. I really think it hits us harder as we age and discover just how fast everything moved.

Great weekly wisdom–thank you for sharing.
