It’s quite normal in most businesses.
Let’s be honest for a moment.
Building a successful business of ANY kind requires tons of time, money and hard work.
It takes a special person to see it it through, and succeed.
This is one of the most common reasons so many businesses fail.

- Doing more for your team members than they do for themselves

First and foremost, you must realize that this business is a marathon, not a sprint.
Yes, there will be times when you have to sprint, to build up momentum and get your business off the ground.
But, you also must realize it takes most people a few years of part-time, consistent effort to grow a large network marketing business and replace their day job income.
It’s probably closer to FIVE YEARS.
One of the best things you can do is set a pace that you can maintain that won’t lead to burn out.
The second thing you must do is have a game-plan.
You must manage your time wisely and focus on the money producing activities.
Don’t stay busy just to stay busy.
Work hard, but also work smart.
Use a day planner and schedule your tasks each week.
Try to do your similar activities in batches.
Another thing you can do is develop SYSTEMS in your business that will help free up your time.
You should have a simple system to generate leads, to follow up with prospects, and to train your team and keep in touch.
Leverage technology such as auto-responders to help you do this.
Systems really are the key to success.
Furthermore, make sure you work with the RIGHT people.
Don’t spend much of your time with people who aren’t producing.
Don’t do things for people that they should be doing for themselves.
Work with the people that are actually doing the work and helping your organization grow.
Another simple tip is to outsource.
It took me a long time to figure this out.
Have someone else help you or do the tasks that you don’t enjoy doing yourself.
For example, I have someone help write for me, do editing of my posts and do the web development on my blog.
My final tip is to do MOST of your training in a group setting.
If you have a large team and work with everyone one-on-one you won’t have much of a life.
Leverage webinars, group meetings and conference calls to do most of your training.
This will free up a lot of your time.
Only give individual attention to people who deserve it (by their actions).
The bottom line is to work smart.
Realize that in the beginning of your business you will put in a lot of work before you see much of a return on your time investment.
This is very common in every business.
You have to work hard to build up momentum and launch your network marketing business.
You must also have a long-term mindset for your network marketing business and set a pace that you can maintain for several years, especially if you have a family and day job.
