Let’s keep it real with each other. Having a steady supply of fresh, qualified leads is vital if you want to succeed in this industry.

Show me someone who can generate leads on demand, and I will show you someone who makes money in our industry. On the other hand, show me someone who doesn’t know how to generate leads, and I will show you someone who quits the business in 90-days or less.

There are many ways to get leads. You can buy leads, get referrals, set up at events, work your warm market, cold call, meet new people, leverage a car magnet, and countless other things. For the scope of this article, I want to teach you how to automate it. That means you generate leads 24/7, whether you are sleeping or awake, at home or at work, while talking with others or enjoying a quiet evening with your family.

Before I share these five strategies with you, I think it’s best to define automated MLM Leads.

In my own words, automated MLM Leads are leads you generate yourself without physically talking to someone. You leverage technology or invest time and money to get prospects to come to you.

Let’s get started. Here are my favorite five strategies. They are listed in no particular order.

# 1: Pay Per Click

Without a doubt, pay per click ads are the fastest way to generate automated MLM Leads. However, if you don’t know what you are doing, it can easily be the most expensive strategy.

You can utilize pay per click advertising on Google, Bing, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and several other platforms. In a nutshell, you create an ad, pick your audience & keyword, and set your bid. Your ads show up when people search for your keywords. Best of all, you only get charged when someone clicks on your ad.

Personally, I use Microsoft Advertising for my pay per click campaigns. This includes Bing, MSN, Yahoo, AOL, and several other search engines. I normally spend about $2 to $5 to generate one MLM Lead. If I’m advertising outside of the USA and Canada, it’s much cheaper.

What’s great about pay per click advertising is that it is truly set and forget. You can set up a campaign, tweak it until it converts well, and then run it on autopilot 24/7 for many years to come.

If you are considering pay per click advertising, I highly recommend you watch a few tutorial videos on YouTube first. As an alternative, you could invest in a course or hire someone to help you with it.

A major benefit of PPC advertising run through Google Ads is that it’s easy to measure and track. Simply use the Google Ads tool in combination with Google Analytics.

You’ll see high-level performance details including impressions, clicks, and conversions (based on the defined business goals).

There’s no mystery to your PPC performance. Stats are readily available and show how your campaigns are performing and what kind of traffic and results they are driving for your budget. ~ Search Engine Journal

# 2: Solo Ads

Solo ads are a simple way to generate automated MLM Leads. A solo ad is when you pay someone to send your email ad to their email list. Normally, you pay 30 to 70 cents per click. You decide how many clicks you want, pay the fee, and then the seller sends out your email.

It’s simple and easy to do. In many cases, the seller will even write your email for you. The key to success with solo ads is to start small and test each vendor you use. Use a unique tracking link for each vendor so you can determine your cost per lead and cost per signup. This article will teach you everything you need to know about solo ads. 

With solo ads, your affiliate link goes directly to people who are looking for the kinds of products you are promoting. That’s because you can buy solo ads from people who have highly specialized lists. These lists can be very long and usually contain people who already have shown an interest in or have already purchased products within your niche. That means they are already in the market for what you are selling.

People are offering solo ads for every niche you can imagine, especially for the evergreen niches. They develop their lists the same way everybody else does. They do it with squeeze pages, social media marketing, and other free methods. Then they offer their lists to people just like you for just pennies per name or even less in some cases.  ~ Bruno Burgei

Postcards are another way to generate automated MLM Leads if you outsource your entire postcard campaign. There are several companies online that will handle your entire postcard campaign for you.

They will design your postcard, provide the leads, print the postcard, add the postage, and mail it for you. Normally, you will pay about 80 cents to $1 per postcard to have a company do this for you.

Hiring a service is more expensive than doing it yourself, but the amount of time you save by not having to attach labels and stamps more than makes up for it.

You can use services such as Postcard Mania or Vista Print.

# 4: Safelists

Safelists are an online membership site where members agree to email each other about money making opportunities. The downside of safelists is that you will get a TON of emails, sometime several hundred per day.

The upside of safelists is that you can get your message in front of lots of people in your target market. Plus, if you upgrade your membership with certain safelists, you can avoid getting emails altogether.

My favorite safelists are Herculist and Viral URL.

If I could only recommend one strategy on this list, it would be content marketing. This is where you create useful content such as articles, videos, Power Point presentations, images, and podcasts and post them online. This is the best strategy for someone with a limited marketing budget.

To be transparent, it does require hard work on the front end (to create the content), and a good amount of patience for the search engines to rank your content. However, one good piece of content can generate you automated MLM Leads for many years to come.

For example, I continue to get automated MLM Leads daily from videos and blog posts I published five or more years ago.

Some of my favorite sources of content marketing include:

  1. Podcasts
  2. YouTube videos
  3. Blog posts and articles
  4. Power Point presentations on SlideShare
  5. Posting on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms
  6. Memes or infographic
  7. Blog and Forum Comments

Each potential customer that finds valuable content on your site becomes a potential advocate for your brand.

Many of these readers will follow you on Facebook or Twitter so they can stay up to date on future articles that you write. Many of these readers will also share your articles with their friends and family on social media, which helps to exponentially grow your following over time. ~


In conclusion, these are five of my favorite strategies to get automated MLM Leads. These strategies work if you put in the time, effort, and money to learn and master each source. Also, there are many other strategies you can pursue that I did not cover in this article. Each person is different, so figure out what works best for you and focus on that.
