We live in a fast world! Every person, it seems, is trying to be the super multi tasker.
Go go go!
But just like your car needs gas, so do you. We need energy to complete everything on the list and sometimes, we need to use substances to gain that energy.
This is why we see so many brands of energy drinks lining the shelves in supermarkets and gas stations. But we have also witnessed news stories of teenagers drinking too many of these energy drinks and having heart attacks.
Like anything in life, there must be moderation. But we also “scold” some of these energy drink manufacturers for not making the drinks safer and being more proactive to the health and welfare of consumers.
But, it seems the multilevel marketing company Amway believed they could sell a safer alternative to the rest. They developed Amway XS Energy Drinks. So, I tried 2 flavors of these drinks and I have also done some heavy research. In today’s post, I will give my opinion if they are good as well as other opinions. I will tell you if they are safer than the alternatives and you will get my opinion if they are worth the money.
Keep in mind that this review is completely unbiased. I am not affiliated with Amway. I do know people who are representatives… That is how I tried the XS product. But I made no promises of a positive review.
If, after reading this Amway XS Energy Drinks review, you would like to try the product or even become a home based Amway business owner, the company’s website link will be in the reference section.
Amway XS Energy Drinks – Are They Good?
Are they good? Well, that would depend on your taste buds but every can of XS that I drank was wonderful. I have tried many energy drinks and I can honestly say that none could stand up taste wise to the Amway XS Energy drinks.
The flavors I tried were Cherry Blast, Rootbeer Blast and Blood Orange. I especially loved the Rootbeer.
Other flavors include:
- Mango – Pineapple – Guava
- Pink Grapefruit
- Cranberry – Grape
- Wild Berry
- Dragon Fruit
- Classic Blast
- Electric Lemon
- Black Cherry Cola
I will eventually try them all and I bet I will not be disappointed.

Amway XS Energy Drinks – Are They Safe?
Like anything, these need to be used in moderation. The XS Energy drinks have about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. But Amway does make a caffeine free one too.
The Amway XS Energy Drinks are sugar free. Instead, they use Sucralose for a sweetener. Sucralose has been known to cause a laxative effect.
It contains Ginseng and I find no ill effects with it.
These are all the ingredients:
- Carbonated Water
- Citric Acid
- Concentrated Fruit Juice
- Sucralose and Ace-K
- Root Extracts or any other Herbal mixture
- Hydro chlorides
The product is high in Vitamin B12 which is fine.
Amway does have this to say: XS® Energy Drinks are not recommended for children, or women who are pregnant or nursing. If you have additional questions, please consult with your physician.
Amway XS Energy Drinks – Are They Worth The Money?
I have heard some people say that the Amway energy drinks are overly priced.
Looking at the Amway website, I see you get 12 cans for $28.32 at retail. Let’s break that down… $2.36 per can.
Hmmm, last time I bought a can of another brand of energy drink, I paid about $2.85.
My opinion is, YES, they are worth the money. And looking at the variety of other opinions around the world wide web, the majority agree with me.
Well there you have it… It seems that Amway XS Energy Drinks come in with a favorable score.
You know, my energy is slightly low now and I am out of XS… Guess I will have to settle for coffee.
If you have any questions or feedback, just post them below. Thank you and have a great day.
