Today, I want to discuss my favorite Amway product of all time, the Amway Santinique 2 in 1 shampoo.
I am a former Amway® distributor who still really enjoys using several of the Amway® products. I still purchase products from my former upline once in a while, or I find them for a discount online.
The Amway Santinique 2 in 1 shampoo is easily my favorite. I’ve been using this product since 2002, and I am yet to find another shampoo I enjoy as much. I’ve tried many different shampoos through the years, and I haven’t found any that left my hair feeling so clean and healthy, at this economical price.
Here’s what I love most about the product:
- It smells goods
- It leaves my hair really soft
- It helps repair damaged hair
- It’s priced fairly and economical
- It comes with a money back guarantee
- I can have it delivered to my doorstep
Amway Santinique 2 in 1 Shampoo Product Listing
Here’s what I found, directly off the Amway website.
- Targeted for every day: Gentle formula conveniently cleanses, nourishes, and conditions hair.
- Patented Enerjuve Complex: This positively charged complex of strengthening lipids, reinforcing creatine, and smoothing 18-MEA works three ways to correct the negative charge found in damaged hair. It penetrates the hair follicle, selectively binds to damaged strands, and rebuilds weak spots to help repair and revitalize from the inside out.
- Signature botanical blends and nutrients: Infused with a blend of borage seed oil and vitamin E, the customized formula helps moisturize, smooth, and condition hair.
The Ingredients
From the same Amway website cited above, here are the ingredients for the shampoo.
Water/Eau, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Decyl Glucoside, Glycol Distearate, Dimethicone, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Glycereth-26, Glycerin, Fragrance/Parfum, Sodium Chloride, C12-15 Alkyl Lactate, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium EDTA, Creatine, Limnanthes alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Dipropylene Glycol, C10-40 Isoalkylamidopropylethyldimonium Ethosulfate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Borago Officinalis Seed oil, Phytantriol, PPG-12-Buteth-16, Tocopheryl Acetate, Triethanolamine, Sodium PCA, Sodium Lactate, Arginine, Aspartic Acid, PCA, Glycine, Alanine, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Ceramide-2, Serine, Ceramide-3, Valine, Behenic Acid, Cholesterol, Isoleucine, Proline, Threonine, Methylisothiazolinone, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract.
How Much Does it Cost?
When you buy the item from Amway® you have two options. You can either purchase the small 9.4 fl oz bottle for $10.50 (retail price) or you can purchase the 25.6 oz bottle, which costs $21.00. The stock number for the small bottle is 115304 and the stock number for the big bottle is 116510.
The small 9.4 fl oz bottle has up to 80 uses, giving it a cost per use of ($10.50 / 80) just 13 cents. If you go with the big 25.6 oz bottle you will get up to 225 uses, so the cost per use is just 9 cents ($21.00 / 225). If you’re a bargain shopper like I am, I would recommend the bigger bottle, since it’s more economical.
Amway Santinique 2-1 Shampoo Reviews
I’ve scoured the internet to find testimonials about the Amway Santinique 2 in 1 shampoo. Here’s what I found. The sources are cited.
Product is very good. Since it contains shampoo and conditioner 2 in 1 . It is easy to use. After 3 months of usage, I feel my hair very soft and I can feel my hair fall has reduced. My hair is curly and brittle, after Satinique usage, it has become very soft.I used to wash my hair 2 days once and the product lasts for more than 2 months. Worth the price and a nice product. The smell is also very good. If you want a soft and silky hair, U can go for it.
5-Star Review from MouthShut.com
I have been using Satinique Shampoo for more than 10 years. My family resorted to Amway’s Products long back when we realized that it deals with natural products which are produced organically in their own corporate farms. I had naturally straight, smooth hair but the only problem faced by me was fine hair. Satinique Shampoo not only makes my hair smoother, it also makes them healthier. And when my hair looks healthy they automatically appear thicker. It removes frizz and makes my hair 6 times smoother. It also adds shine to my hair which boosts my self-confidence on my appearance.

The packaging is quite good. The cap is firm and shuts tightly. I have been using this shampoo for the last two months and I quite like this product. The shampoo has a runny consistency. I like the fragrance of the shampoo. It is subtle and not over powering. It rinses off easily. After washing my hair with the shampoo I can still smell the scent in my hair for a good four hours.
This shampoo however does not lather up much. But I am okay with this. I take a little more than a coin size onto my palm, then I add a little water and try to lather it up a bit and gently massage my scalp for about a minute or two. Then I leave it on for another minute or so and then I wash it off.
I like the fact that this shampoo works as a conditioner too and thus saves time. No need to use a separate conditioner. This shampoo detangles any knots in my hair. I love how my hair feels soft and smooth the effect of which lasts for two days. I did not notice any side effects from using this product.

I have 2 sachets of 4 ml each. I was little skeptical using this product wondering how it works, considering we often use shampoo first and rinse and then apply conditioner and wait for 2 minutes before rinsing. Do I have to wait for 2 minutes with this product on the hair before rinsing?lets find out
I applied oil today and decided to test this product. The 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner is a silky white shampoo is mildly frangranted and and the consistency is very light like all other Amway products. I decided to use the 2 sachets shampoo conditioner as mentioned in the directions. It didn’t lather well, may be because I had oil on my hair and was not sure if it removed all the oil and for a minute I thought of using my trusted TRESemme but wanted to check how much Amway could take.
so after shampooing and drying my hair…and Voila!.. no oil on my hair and it feels squeaky clean and washing my hair done in half the time since it has both shampoo and conditioner … so no waiting time.
Pros:
1. Effectively removed oil from my hair even with such less product
2. The 2 in 1 concept works well in this shampoo and leaves my hair feeling soft and silky.
3. Price INR400 for 250 ml and INR6 for 4 mlCons:
Just wished that the sachets had an ingredients list, it would be helpful for people to decide on the buying the bigger bottles.Repurchasing : will definitely give it a try if the ingredients list suits me.

The fact that you have been using this product for so long is a testament to how well it works. All of the benefits you listed sound great. I am wondering if this shampoo works for all kinds of hair or just specific types. I have very thick and course hair, so do you think it would work for someone like me? If I could save some money and do my hair some good at the same time I’d try it in a heartbeat.
I have never tried this Amway shampoo, but after your review, I probably will give it a shot. It would probably help Amway distributors if they carried this review with them. Part of the problem is: people often hit Walmart for things like this. A person can often buy a bottle of shampoo for 99 cents. The advantages of paying a higher price need to be shown. The fact that you don’t use nearly as much is a key.
I do love the Amway shampoo!
