Remember that insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different to happen.
If what you are doing right now isn’t working, it’s time to be honest with yourself and make some small changes.
Rather than quit your network marketing business because it isn’t working, find out WHY things aren’t working and look for areas you can improve .
Successful people do certain things in a certain way.
Successful network marketers do certain things that unsuccessful network marketers do not do.
Never forget that.
Some of the best advice I have ever heard in this industry is to look at what the 97% do and then do the complete opposite.
Focus on what the successful people are doing and model their behavior.

Listed below are three simple things any network marketer can do to do a better job in their business.
# 1 Be Consistent
Without a doubt, the number one issue I see with people on my own team, and throughout the industry, is that they are not consistent with their business.
They do not do something to move their business forward every single day.
They let life get in the way.
And, they dabble with their business.
They are on and then they are off.
They work their business 10 hours this week and only 1 hour next week.
And they wonder why their business doesn’t grow.
To be successful in anything in life, you must be consistent.
How well would a diet work if you only did it one day a week?
You must have the discipline to set aside minimum 1-2 hours per DAY, at least six days per week to build your network marketing business.
I know what you’re thinking right now.
You’re probably thinking “Chuck, I’m busy” or “I have too much going on to be that committed.”
My immediate response is “do you go to your job every day?”
If you’re like most people you go to your job every day, even when you don’t feel like it, because you need your paycheck to pay your bills.
When you can adopt that same way of thinking in your network marketing business you will become successful.
If it’s not a priority, your business will never get built.
Do the things you know you should be doing, CONSISTENTLY, even if you don’t feel like it.
I am a part-timer in my own network marketing business, but I can assure you that a day never goes by where I don’t do something to build my network marketing business, even if I am sick, at a wedding, or on vacation.
I’m just as busy as anyone else, but I am 100% committed and 100% consistent.
Steady pace wins the race whereas being inconsistent is the kiss of death!
# 2 Take the Long Term View
We live in a society of short-term thinkers. Most people can’t even think past their next paycheck.
Most people spend more time planning their yearly vacation than they do planning out their own life.
It’s sad, but true.
Most people have been programmed to only think about NOW.
That’s why we have so many elderly people who can’t take care of themselves or provide for themselves.
That’s why we have so many broke people in America.
These people are good people.
I’m not knocking them.
But these folks are short-term thinkers.
For most of their life, they lived in the moment, rather than plan for the future.
When it comes to network marketing, you need to take the long term view.
You need to evaluate your business from year to year, decade to decade, not day to day or month to month.
You need a five, ten, and twenty year plan for your business.
Every decision you make about your business should be based on the long-term.
This won’t be easy for most people, but I can assure you that the long-term view is the way to go.
Short-term thinkers don’t survive long in this industry.
Be a long-term thinker!
# 3 Work On Your Personal Development Daily
You get paid based upon the value you bring to the marketplace.
To create a dream lifestyle and achieve financial success in your network marketing business, you must change.
You must improve daily.
You must work harder on yourself than you do on your job or business.
It’s true, network marketing really is a personal development course disguised as a business.
To attract quality people into your business, you must become a quality person.
Master your leadership, communication, and people skills.
Become a person of value.
Develop your potential.
To do these things you must be committed to your personal development.
Read daily, find a mentor, attend events and never stop learning.
Over a period of a few years, you will be amazed at the person you can become.
And when you become that person, you will attract the success that you desire.
Yes, the money is great, but I think the best thing about this industry is the personal development.
In conclusion, these are three simple things you can do to move your MLM Business forward.
In a nutshell they are: be consistent, think long-term and work on your personal development.
If you really want success in this business, take a close look at where you stand in each one of these areas and determine what you can do to improve.
Once you do that you will be prepared to move your business forward and you can become the person you were designed to be.
